I have already left a review about the excellent customer service we had from Zoe at Temptation when buying our house, but I just wanted to add how fantastic the after care has been from Darren and his team making sure our house is as perfect as can be. No matter how tiny the snag was, it was sorted to the best standard. We can not be more happier with our home.

The easiest house purchase to date!

I cannot recommend Strata enough. I dealt with the very lovely Jess who went out of her way to help me with my purchase. She was always at the other end of the phone and regularly made contact to make sure I understood what was going on and where we were with buying the house. It never felt pushy and I really felt confident in trusting Strata with the move. I'd like to give credit to Jess who was just great with me and my children and I really felt she cared about how much it all meant to us. It was lovely for Jess to hand me the keys to my new house on completion day.

Strata Homes Eckington

My partner and I whilst out house hunting called into the Strata Homes Belong site at Eckington.There we met the two female site representatives....they turned out not only to be very nice people they were superb at their jobs....so good in fact that we are buying one of the homes on the site.I wasnt sure about buying a new build but these two wonderful ladies put me at ease and answered my many question...both are an asset to the company.I am not someone who gives praise easily. The houses on site appear very well built,stylish and the site is in a great location....cant wait to move in...

Poor customer care

Poor customer care, nobody is taking responsibility for ANYTHING. Moved in July 2018 - still haven't got street lights 9 months later.The street is an absolute mess after the road has been dug up - this is either side of our drive which we have to reverse out of. Weeks later its the same after chasing.Our downstairs toilet has been blocked twice (no fault of our own).We had been informed (along with the rest of the street) that we would have a fence by the public footpath which now isn't happening as no planning permission can be granted so the one side of this path has been left as a dumping ground with a silver prison fence. There is a video of the site which the house is on and it is nothing like this visual its very far from it.We had to chase to get the landscaping sorted - I think originally we chased in Jan 2019 & this wasn't started until end of March/April. Our house is built behind the showroom so you would expect this landscaping to be done first and move down site but no, this was ignored. You have to constantly chase and chase to get any kind of answer and the ones I do get are not helpful in the slightest. Again with emails you don't seem to get a response and everyone who has complained seems to get the same generic email forwarded on. We had a leak in the kitchen which I am still waiting for this to be plastered and painted.There is a current facebook page for the KUDOS estate and there is nothing but bad and negative comments for the whole site. Bad communication & no responsibility. I would not recommend anybody as a first time buyer like us to buy a strata house.

Its moving day :)

Me and my partner are moving into our first home together today!!From the beginning off this process we were both very nervous and didnt understand everything. At the start we were dealing with tara from definition site in derby. She was so helpful, she answered every question we had no matter what it was or how silly we thought it was. She explained everything so we understood it all. Kept us up to date with everything, she made the start off the process very easy and relaxing. The last few weeks we have had jess looking after us as tara has moved to another site. Again jess has been so helpfull answered all questions sent pictures off the house to shoe us how its been going. Luckily my mums house is literally down the road and my partners parents house isnt to far so we have been popping down to see how the house has been getting on since we knew they started building it. Jess and tara both deserve alot off praise they have been absolutley amazing and helped me and my partner take this massive next step in our journey. :)

Excellent, fast, friendly service from Jess

We are moving into our new house at Ambience, Linton tomorrow :) We have been very impressed with the service we’ve received from Jess at Strata. She is quick to reply to any call or email and has endeavoured to find us all the information we’ve needed when asked. She has checked in with us periodically to make sure we’re happy which is much appreciated! As a side note - the solicitor we were recommended (Emily at Taylor Bracewell) has been incredible so I would highly recommend using her!! I have never known a Solicitor who has responded so quickly and worked so fast to get us into our perfect new home.

The intrigue site in Ossett has been one we have been interested in for a number of months. I've spoken at least every week to Marilyn trying to secure a house whilst still trying to sell mine. Temptation - Burton-on-Trent

We part exchanged our old house for a new house on the Temptation site in Burton. This is the second new build we have bought, and in terms of information provided and up front support, Strata are clear winners compared to our previous builders.The part exchange process took around 8 weeks from start to finish, with around 3 weeks of that being due to a delay from our mortgage provider - so all in all, pretty speedy! We chose to use our own solicitors, and there were occasions where I felt as if I had slowed the process down or caused some inconvenience by doing this, but ultimately it didn’t affect the overall experience.The sales experience was second to none, Zoe was and is excellent, had no issues with our *many* visits to check out our new house before we moved in or the fact our three year old has a lovely tendency to talk over her every time she tries to tell us something important! In terms of snagging, everything I have raised so far has been dealt with promptly - for example, a slow running tap we flagged 48 hours before we moved in was fixed before we arrived, and a cracked patio door was replaced within a week. Greg the site manager has been excellent in checking in on us, but despite the fact the house has been up for almost a year, there hasn’t been a great deal for us to flag!Overall, no complaints here, and we would definitely recommend the Temptation site to anyone.

Our experience with Strata has been great since moving in on 29/3/19. They have gone out of there way to welcome us and rectify any early problems within the house. Andrew Brailsford the assistant project manager has been a great help with any problems and has already taken our snagging list to rectify over the coming weeks. It’s ealry days for us with Strata but so far I can’t recommend them enough.

STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH

If I could give ZERO I would. This is the second time I am buying a Strata house but definitely will be the last. The after care is terrible and they just sit behind a desk and not support especially after raising a safety concern on my new property which was not cheap. Even the neighbours, builders and contractors that came to work on our house raised the concerns and said “this must be illegal” especially when we have a 2yrs old daughter. We have a HUGE drop in our front door which Strata refuses to fix even though other house types have steps, turf or railings. customer service refuse to do anything!!! HUGE SAFETY HAZARD!!!! STAY AWAY!

Our experience with Strata has been second to none thus far! We have been guided through the process by Melissa B and couldn't be happier - we moved late on our house and it was largely finished before we proceeded, but she has gone above and beyond to ensure any finishing touches that could be amended were done so. We spoke almost daily at times but Melissa would always come back to us quickly with answers, advice and updates. Anything that she couldn't answer personally (which wasn't often!) would be taken care of on our behalf too. Thanks Melissa!

Nothing short of amazing

Initially I wasn’t planning on purchasing a house, I was just taking my sister round to different show houses around West Yorkshire but then we stopped at ambition and the great service we received from Kathryn nudged me into moving in my new home now 1 year on. Poor aftercare experience

The Sales experience is as you would expect - glossy and a very smooth process. The initial 8 weeks of on site aftercare was excellent. The problems start when you contact aftercare at head office. They have either insufficient resource or the processes they do have are not fit for purpose.Maybe the drop from a 5 to a 4 star HBF rating is true indicator of their current service level.

Our experience with Strata and with Jess in particular has been brilliant from the start.I always remember that it was Jess' day off when I was wanting to sort out the reservation for our new home. We bought our first house at Temptation in Burton on Trent. We’ve had nothing but a positive experience with strata. From reserving to completion they’ve been speedy, communicative and helpful! Zoe our customer care manager is lovely and made us feel really comfortable. She talked us through each step of the process and always had time to chat and take an interest in our house/experience.We were kept in the loop through the whole experience and we felt like they were doing this properly but quickly too. Our mortgage advisor provided by strata, Lee was brilliant. He was on hand to help with absolutely anything, it was simple and easy and he really went the extra mile. Every person we’ve dealt with has been lovely! Our builder, Gregg has been on hand since our home demo and definitely knows his stuff. Really friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Would 100% recommend strata to anyone (and have been doing so!) everything is well designed, the house is a joy to live in!

I moved into my new Strata home Feb 2017, at the Ethos Sherwood, Nottingham site. First time I own a new build and I can say the build quality is actually quite good, however not everything is perfect. Here are my thoughts.Bad points: - Lack of natural light in the house due to lack of windows, due to poor house design. - Left lots of rubble in the gutting and garden.- Customer service care@strata. com do not response to emails, so I had to email the manager directly.- Long waiting time for the on site engineers to arrive. - Poorly landscape gardens and green areas.Good points:- They fix most of your issues and the onsite engineers do a very good job. - Good build quality and they look the part from inside/outside- Large bedrooms- Include lots of extras like carpets, built in applicances, etc. Would I buy from the again? In terms of build quality - yes. In terms of house layout - no.In terms of customer servce - just about yes, because the on site engineers were so good. Conclusion: Strata are acually pretty good, you could do alot worst with other larger developers.

Fantastic experience buying my first home at Kudos, from viewing the show homes and reserving my property (Lille) on my first visit Jenny was an absolute star. Fantastic customer service from the start!

From the first visit to Tempation we fell in love with the houses and the site but what made it that much more special was the care and guidance we were given from Zoe.
