I had the pleasure of visiting the Strata 360 estate in Chesterfield this weekend and was highly impressed, not only by the standard of the properties, but mostly by the service I received from the lady in the sales office (Charlotte I believe was her name). She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and having visited three other new build estates in the area, I can say without a doubt the best in the area at her role.I look forward to visiting again in March when my plot of interest is released.

Attraction

My husband and I have recently bought a new rosas house with strata on the attraction site. From the moment we stepped in the sales office jayne looked after us and made us feel very welcome! Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was very honest with us, even when I was having doubts she didnt try and and push for the sale like most would but gave me facts about all my concerns and left to me have a good think about it. Jayne kept us informed throughout the whole journey and we were never left waiting to find out what was happening with our house! Our move went very smoothly thanks to jayne and craig, they have been fab! If we have had any problems Craig has got them sorted very quickly! The after care has been great and cant fault it! Only 1 downfall we found was that the cleaners that had been in before we moved in didnt do a very good job.We are very happy with our lovely new home! And we a re so happy we chose strata! Thankyou so much jayne and craig, we really appreciate everything!

strata are currently building our roads and access has been poor. i understand roads have to be built but i have a large car and it has been impossible to get my car to my house as the space left for us to drive through by the road workers isnt big enough and there simply isnt enough car parking spaces to park on the strata carpark.

From reserving our home at 360 to moving in, our experience with Strata has been phenomenal. As first time buyers, Charlotte was excellent. She put us in touch with Taylor Bracewell and the team at the Mortgage Bureau who collectively made the process very simple. Charlotte has provided us with clear communication, advice and kindness. Our experience with Darren and Ryan has been very positive. They are both highly attentive and personable and have been on hand at a moments notice to handle any issues. We are really impressed with the community building ethos that Strata promotes. The wreath making workshop and Fika mornings are something that I have loved taking part in. I’ve just become an owner of my dream…

I’ve just become an owner of my dream house. The whole process went smooth and Strata team made it even more excited for me by creating VIP lounge with updates on the progress. Few days before completion we occurred some issues with our buyer and if not for Strata team we would not move in before Christmas (if ever?). The team was absolutely incredible and worked really hard to resolve everything for me, putting pressure on solicitors etc. The communication was spot on! Special thanks to our lovely Melisa for being amazing all the way through, as well as Melanie and Chelsea in head office. And off course the house is perfect! I will be recommending Strata to everyone that thinks about buying new build.

Flawless experience at Encore

I've loved every minute of the buying process with Strata. We moved to Encore last month and this being our 3rd new build, we knew what to expect. Melissa and Tom are both lovely and so happy to help with anything. The build quality is much better than our previous properties and the layouts of the properties are generous and designed for family living. Strata have it nailed in terms of the customer experience in my view. I do have minor snags, which you'd be naive not to expect with buying a new house, but anything that needed sorting straight away has been sorted, and the minor cosmetic things will be done after 6 weeks and I'm more than confident in Tom and the team. I can just relax now and enjoy Christmas in our forever home, thank you Strata, I LOVE IT!! Sarah and Scott

I’ve left it a few weeks after completion so I can give a more rounded review of my experience with strata. I can honestly say they are the most efficient and knowledgeable company I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From first view Of the property to moving in the whole process took less than 6 weeks. I part exed my property with them, Used there recommended solicitors and mortgage advisors. The different departments worked flawlessly together to ensure a smooth transaction . After moving in we’ve had a couple of minor issues which the on site builders have taken care of quickly. They’ve even sent the painters in after all the work to freshen up the house. We’re now happily settled into our beautiful new home at the epitome site in Wakefield. If your thinking moving I can whole heartedly recommend them 👍👍👌

Strata Homes at Verve - customer service experts

We've recently been lucky enough to fully reserve our perfect property on the Strata Verve site.From the word GO! Karen has been an absolute dream. Karen was on holiday the first time we went to see the site and the plot plan and Julie was filling in for her. Julie was absolutely fantastic as well and jotted down our details for Karen to give us a call. Were tied into a rental property and need some extra time to pull together some loose ends before we can complete and as such Karen did everything she could to find us a plot with the house type we wanted which fit perfectly into our timescale.In addition to this, Karen managed to pull together a fantastic incentives package for us which really helps us out as first time buyers on a budget. Every question I've had has been answered in full and everyone on site and everyone involved in the process has been so kind and so helpful.We've picked up our reservation manual now which is a gorgeous ring bound book which contains step by step details of the whole process and detailed plans of every single part of the house. This building company seems to be so focused on customer service and customer care and their ethos is world's apart from all of the other builders we visited. (a lot!) Good service when buying, but dissapointing service when finishing the Estate

We have had a mixed experience with Strata. There are some strong pros and cons. Positives include mainly the service we received prior to buying a house and negatives are around finishing the site once houses have been built. Pros: 1. Strata is definitely standing out from all the other companies, as they seem to be focused on building quality houses that customers would genuinely be happy with. We dealt with them for 12 months during the process of buying a house. They were committed to providing the best service possible during this time and would do whatever was possible to ensure that we were happy. 2.Charlotte, Jessica, Tom and Sale’s Manager and the builders were very helpful during the whole process. 3. The houses are done to the highest specification ( sinks, taps, showers, carpets, tiles) and they have one of the best house designs we have seen available. Cons:1. The door to the balcony that was installed was either not quality checked or left on purpose not working properly. It turned out that there was a big gap that was letting the cold in. It looked like the door was dropped during installation and a piece on the bottom of the door snapped which is why it was not working. The part that the door was dropped on was glued together. This should have never been handed over to the customer like this, as we ended up having it completely replaced, after many people attending the site and disagreeing with each other how this should be handled. There was lots of stress and issues and massive delay involved in this process.2. When we moved into the house by the end of March 2019, we were told that the Estate will be fully finished in April, we are almost in December, so 8 months have passed and it does not look like is still anywhere near finishing.It looks like that with no Site Manager overlooking it, this has all been left without proper attention, which is not very respectful of the people who have bought the houses. Price of the house includes finishing the site. I think this situation is not supervised appropriately and progress on the site is not prioritised in any way. Weeks have turned into months and there are so many days going by and there is nobody on the site. If there was urgency put on it, this would get done within a month.There are many days going by with nobody on the site and things are very often started and then left for weeks without anybody attending them, making any progress ‘painfully slow’.I contacted Customer Care Team, who tried to help but there is not much information they able to get hold of. I contacted the Complaints Department 3 times and I have not had a professional, detailed reply to what has been raised. They main reply is that they are awaiting for some information, but they are unable to get proper answers that commit to any schedule, plans, dates or general action. The Complaints Department said they will speak to the Adoption Engineer, who within 4 weeks was able to answer only 1 question out of the few. The Complaints Department has been unable to gather information from the Adoption Engineer, which shows that there is no action plan in place. 3. The site looks messy, the plants, weeds, hedges, plants with thorns are overgrowing and covering pathways. Rubbish after builders have not been fully finished. Nobody remembered to switch on lampposts and it takes weeks to switch them (it is still not done). Almost the whole road has been finished but the last part has been left now ( the last 10 meters) and it has been like that for about 3 months ( with iron work raised)

Avoid this builder at all costs

I could not advise you to steer clear of Strata Homes more! We're coming up to our 4th anniversary in our home and I don't have anything positive to say about it at all. The build quality and finishes are horrible. Issues that were raised with the builder at the time of moving in we're never fixed and so we still are living with then today. Plus, because of the low quality products that were used, the house is looking shabby less than 4 years after moving in. Whenever we go to improve anything, we're greeted with more nasty surprises because everything was done half-cocked and too quickly. Do not waste your money on a Strata home. It's the worst decision my partner and I have ever made.

My overall experience with Strata has been great. I made the decision to purchase the property within a couple of weeks of visiting and must have been to the show home half a dozen times.The ladies there have shown me around and answered all sorts of weird and wonderful questions I had. Danielle was my main point of contact and has kept in touch once the sale went through to make sure everything is OK and chased me for the snag list which I completely forgot about.I've been in the house for just over 2 months now so hard to say whether it's going to withstand the next 10 years of my antics, but so far so good, it's well built and there aren't any (or I haven't found any yet) 'sweep under the carpet' jobs - nothing that looks good until you use it etc. Which I know is the case with some other builders.Overall experience was great and I'd recommend!
