Rachel in the marketing suite was so friendly, very informative and helpful. All our questions were answered. We got to meet the site manager Paul, who went out of his way to talk to us directly. Excellent service provided by the team on site. In times of uncertainty, the team were so transparent and honest and at all the stages of the build process, we were kept informed.The actual build quality of the house is fabulous. Sarah and Zoe are a credit to Strata, and made our journey into our dream home a pleasant and smooth one.Now we are in the home, the aftercare team have been as equally as helpful.The journey was so good, we recommended to two other families who also purchased on the site (Encore).Would definitely recommend this house builder to others.

We have recently moved into a wonderful Strata build in Burton upon Trent. The whole experience from first interest to signing contracts was less than two months and wonderfully handled by everyone involved. Special shout out for Sarah Sharp at Encore, who was an absolute delight from the first meeting. Sarah was courteous, professional and incredibly helpful, and really sold us on the property before we had even seen it. Highly recommended from the Warren family.

Recently moved into Adore Green Hammerton. We have been really impressed with the service, starting with Tammi who we first met to view the property and who then made the whole process easy and passed us onto Carla who supported us well in the last few steps and getting moved in. We’re thrilled and really happy with our new home and so is our dog. Simon has been excellent throughout our first few weeks ensuring we were ok and is working with us on any snags. Simon just reiterates that he wants us to be happy and you can see he takes pride in managing the site and project which makes a real difference.Having looked for our new home for around four years and visiting many a new build projects I have to say that Strata had the best service and approach, at others we we made to feel like our custom was not valued almost like they made a judgement based on our age and looks we could “not afford” what they had! Not at Strata, the focus was on us, what we were looking for in our home and how they could help us. Great experience on my visit to the “attraction” development in Kingswood, Hull. I had booked for a viewing on a Saturday and was running really late due to traffic/road works but, staff on site, Beth, was ever so lovely and helpful. Even rescheduling another appointment for the next day when the time I had left on that day was just enough for a quick peek at the show home. She also arranged a chat with the mortgage adviser to see what was affordable & even ready to help set up an appropriate buying plan on the day if I did find something. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a property suited to my affordability and timeline (though I do love the loft style design of the Rosas homes! But none available till next year🙁) but I really appreciated the time and detail taken to give me a chance to see what was on hand. Thank you Beth & Strata!

Absolute shambles.

Absolute shambles.Moving day itself was a farce, the house wasn’t ready (carpets still being laid, decorating not finished, no-one knew how the hob worked etc etc…) … we basically left after half an hour and went back the next day. Not the amazing, life-long memories we were hoping for.Since then, continual battles with Strata, carpets have had to be re-laid; kitchen worktops all needed replacing; turf finally laid 6 months after we’d moved in; every time it rains the garden turns into a bog due to poor drainage etc etc…The site itself is a mess. There seems to be a continual battle between Strata and the contractors to get the development finished. There are endless drainage issues which means driveways and gardens have to be dug up; rumours that whole roads need to be dug up and re-laid; changes to the spec of speed bumps etc etc. Weeks and weeks go by with no activity, with no clear communication from Strata, no firm plan and no end date in sight. Strata's default answer to everything is to blame the contractors, Applebridge.Our house overlooks what should be a communal green, but has been a builders works yard for the two years we’ve been here. A yard that has been pretty much deserted for months. It’s as though everyone has just given up and gone off to the next development!**UPDATE**You're right - your customer services guys have been in touch with an update regarding the current situation. The response was this, and I'll let you decide if you think this is a helpful and acceptable update:"Just to let you know at the moment I have been unable to get dates for any of the remaining works across the site from Applebridge as they have not come back to me yet, or replied to our senior adoptions engineers either about arranging a meeting.Hopefully we can get Applebridge to agree to a date to have a meeting and we can start to get some dates penned in."

Buying itself a smooth process, less the fact we paid £15,000 more than our neighbours for a smaller property as they decided to hide all the incentives in the property price for a house they couldn't sell. We've been in nearly a year now and it's been problem after problem with the customer service after care. There is NO drainage in the garden but the warranties don't cover the garden and strata won't do anything about it either. We've resorted to sorting it ourselves and apparently that voids any help we would have gotten anyways. They're constantly looking for ways out and loopholes.Would never get another strata and we're already looking at moving after a year.

We have been in our amazing Strata 360 house for a week. The whole buying process from start to finish couldn't have been any easier, Charlotte has been fantastic! With the added support from Emily at Taylor Bracewell and Sue at MAB New Homes, we were always kept up to date and they were incredibly helpful. Our relocation from Cumbria to Chesterfield, although stressful, was smooth and hassle free thanks to all the advice we have received. Having only been in a week, we are yet to spot anything wrong with our house but are reassured that should we need any help that Ryan and Charlotte are on hand. We are extremely happy with our Catania Strata home. It's a house we never imagined we would ever be able to own. Everyone we've dealt with has helped to make this possible and we can't thank the team enough for all their help and guidance along the way.

What an absolute shambles trying to…

What an absolute shambles trying to purchase a property from this lot. After been told the purchase price was £435,000 on a house in Green Hammerton we were then told the day after it was £445,000. A £10,000 increase overnight. My daughter who was going to buy this house had already moved in in her head. It’s all been a very upsetting and annoying experience. I would look elsewhere to a company that will stick to what they’ve said. Buyer beware!!There was no misunderstanding on our part. When you ask a salesperson how much something is and they say a figure then that is what you expect to pay. There were 3 of us in the sales office and all 3 of us believed the price was £435,000. How you got to that figure was of no concern to us. As far as we’re concerned you are in the wrong. We won’t be dealing with you again and I urge other buyers to look elsewhere.

We moved into our beautiful house at the 360 site about a month ago now and we had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We chose the house fairly late on in the process but this didn’t change the process for us at all. The spec of the house was fantastic with very little snagging issues, the quality of the build and finish is just fantastic. Charlotte has been amazing and so good with us, with us being first time buyers the whole process was very new but along with the help of Sue and Emily we were made to feel at ease and the whole process was well explained and stress free for us. Since moving in we’ve had regular contact and visits from both Charlotte and Ryan the site manager which has been very much appreciated. Any help or advice we’ve needed when hanging things like tv’s has been brilliant, Ryan even dropped round some screws for us to use, we needed some help with the extractors not turning off and within 10 minutes and electrician was round and the problem was sorted. We’re extremely happy so far and can’t speak highly enough of the house and Strata. Each and every person we’ve dealt with has been amazing and Charlotte and Ryan are a credit to the strata team. Thank you so much 😊

Strata Homes - Encore

Having previously purchased a new build home I was comfortable that I knew what to expect, I was wrong. Sarah, Zoe and the team at Strata have exceeded my expectations at every turn. At the initial meeting with Sarah I was made to feel very welcome and at no point did i feel like there was any pressure; like you can get at some other builders developments; to put down a deposit etc. Even though; if I'm honest; I went back and forth a few times with my decisions I always felt like Sarah and the team were patient and helped me understand all options available to me. The offer and overall package I got from Strata was excellent and on reflection I feel like they gave me more than I would have expected from a home builder. Since moving in I've had minimal snags and definitely far less than I had on my previous new build from another company. You can see that Strata's quality control is of a high standard. The one issue Ive had with a faulty wine cooler was dealt with quickly and efficiently and my interaction with site had been a positive one.Overall i have to admit that Strata has really impressed me and I'm really happy with my new home.If you are looking to purchase a new home I definitely would recommend you check out Strata Homes.

As Good As It Gets

We have moved several times over the years but this is our first new build. We chose the Strata Esteem site partly because of its ideal location for the various places we need to be, but also because of the impressive build quality and attention to detail that has gone into designing our gorgeous new home. We moved here from the other end of the country, and from start to finish have experienced excellent communication with the Sales team, even during lockdown - all queries/ concerns were dealt with professionally and efficiently, and our Experience Manager Tami never failed to return a call or follow up any issue promptly. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival, and the welcome pack containing a variety of high end locally sourced treats was a lovely surprise!Since moving here both Tami and the friendly site team have looked after us wonderfully , nothing is ever too much trouble , whether it is seeing to the inevitable minor snagging jobs that come with every new build, help with rubbish disposal before the council got round to delivering our wheelie bins or putting us in touch with trusted tradespeople for independent extra work we wished to carry out. We are very happy here ( so far! ) and feel very supported and confident that any further issues that may arise will be dealt with in the same friendly and positive manner. 10 out of 10 for excellent customer care, and for a truly beautiful new home. Very excited to be part of the birth of a brand new community!

Lack of attention to detail

I purchased a house on the Temptation site in Burton. The house itself was ok with only a few minor snagging issues - as expected for a new build. However, the garden wall was built using a different brick to the house which not only is so obvious but very absurd too! What makes the error worse is that the wall runs along the road so visibility of the error is clear to members of the public too. An identical house opposite has a matching garden wall finished immensely making me believe that very little attention was paid to my wall. It surprises me this was not noticed by site staff when being built. When asked Strata to replace the wall I am told “the wall is fit for purpose” regardless of its quality. So it may as well be rendered? Not a satisfied customer at all!

We`ve purchased a house last year and the sale went smootly thanks to Sheereen and Sandra. Even though you can clearly see that the finishing touches of the house were done in a rush , we are alright with this as it will need redecorating after a year or two. Customer care are hard to get to when we had some issues. Still waiting for that 7 weeks snagging list to be completed but with Covid who knows when that will happen or if will ever happen.

Great customer experience!

We were looking for a house last minute after our house fell through and contacted Strata as they had one house left in one of our desirable spots in Leeds. Emily and Carla looked after us and helped us as much as they could with finding the right house. The house available had everything we wanted but the actual size was a little small. The ladies put no pressure on us but instead helped us with making sure we could find the right house, introduced us to other strata sites, etc... truly great customer service!
