GoogleSophie was brilliant, my partner gets very stressed by things and Sophie was always willing to take the time to explain and resolve issues. She worked well in conjunction with our lawyers to resolve some quite tricky situations. She is just who you need when you hit rough patches.

GoogleWe used Seymour’s to sell our home in Merrow . I have to say they were very thorough, and there were some complications with land registry etc . Andie was particularly helpful in getting everything finalised . Would have been difficult without her excellent professional help , coordinating with buyers and solicitors. 5 stars !

GoogleWe had an unusual situation in that our buyer fell through just before we completed. So we ended up switching to a rental model on the house we were buying while we sold our house. A lot of moving parts and from start to finish, Andie in the Burpham office was amazing. She was clear in her communication, firm with deadlines and expectations but also empathetic of what was a very difficult situation with many moving parts that affected both us and the sellers. She acted as the perfect liaison between buyer and seller, returned calls when promised, helped with technicalities, managed the transition from sale to rental (and back to final sale) brilliantly. All the while she was unflappable and kept calm while all around could have gone crazy. Big thanks to the Burpham Seymours, to Tracy and especially to Andie who stuck with us and helped get the sale over the line.

GoogleAfter my mother sanctioned the sale of the family house - she then gracefully passed away. This created a conundrum about the speed of sale v the speed of probate. Fortunately, Team Chris, Nolan, Andie, Luke, Becca, and Georgia kept the plates spinning while we battled various government agencies and a lengthy chain finally completed 6 months later. Which, all things considered, was very reasonable.

GoogleOverall, our first experience of buying a home with Seymours West Byfleet was a positive one. Lucy, who showed us around the property, was very diligent in pointing out as many details as possible and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. Our only feedback at this stage would be that a little more investigation prior to the viewing may have been helpful, particularly regarding the progression of the onward chain, as what we were told at the time did not fully reflect the actual situation. Once our offer was accepted, the sales progression stage was unfortunately less consistent. We were assigned three different sales progressors during the process, and there appeared to be a lack of clear communication and handover between them. This did cause some confusion at times, particularly when updates and timelines were given without full visibility of the situation, especially regarding the seller’s position. That said, once Rowan took over our sale, he was responsive, proactive, and clearly committed to pushing the transaction forward. While delays from the seller’s solicitors slowed progress considerably, Rowan worked hard to obtain updates and keep things moving wherever possible. Our only additional feedback would be that we would have appreciated firmer confirmation of facts before certain dates and timelines were shared, to help manage expectations more accurately. Although the process took longer than initially anticipated, we are now very happy homeowners with the keys in hand. Thank you to the team at Seymours West Byfleet, and especially to Rowan, for helping us reach the finish line.

GoogleSeymour’s has been extremely helpful with our extensive property search. Especially a young lad named Ben. He showed us around 3 properties, he was highly knowledgeable of them all and extremely friendly with our child which came along for the experience. To our surprise, he’d only been doing this job for short term, we were so sure he was far more experienced. Ben was superb and a pleasure to deal with.
