GoogleChaotic. Far, Far too many people, no consisted person who was OUR client link. Some agents took possible buyer to our house but had NEVER been there before ! ! ! I was TOTALLY shocked when we had a "cash offer" yet NO ONE undertook legal OR financial due diligence. I used to do these REGULARLY when in the Commercial market. Seymours were totally unprofessional. I also found out the deal had collapsed many days BEFORE Seymours told us !! So many names sent us e mail, to tell us what we had found days, YES DAYS , before. Seymours were behind the curve & disorganised. The eventual buyer was introduced by ANOTHER agent ! who then eventually spent 5 hours talking to other agents, legal teams, removal companies - eventually putting together the 4 property chain to agree an exchange & completions date. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, and we appreciate the time you’ve taken to provide this feedback. I’d like to clarify a few points that may help explain the situation from our side. When you first accepted the offer from the 1st buyer, they presented themselves as a cash buyer, we verified and checked their bank statements, and we moved forward accordingly. Unfortunately, partway through the process, having waited a couple of months for you to secure an onward purchase, the buyer informed us that due to the delay they would need to tie their purchase into the sale of their own property. We informed you of this as soon as we were made aware and advised putting your property back on the market to avoid further delays. This was at a difficult time, as you had just found your onward purchase. To address this change, we quickly arranged multiple viewings, and our efforts resulted in securing a new, higher offer, with a buyer fully introduced by Seymours, in fact an existing client of ours, who I believe was buying something else (from the same agent you were buying from), which he withdrew from to pursue yours. We ensured this new buyer was fully vetted as always. The sale was progressing smoothly, only 8 weeks from offer to a potential exchange of contracts, until an unexpected issue arose with your onward purchase, which was unfortunately beyond our control. Despite this, we worked hard to keep the chain intact and help move things forward as quickly as possible. We understand how stressful this process can be, especially when things do not go as originally planned. We strive to provide clear and timely communication throughout, and we will take your feedback on board to further improve in this area. We wish you the best in your new home and hope you are now happily settled.

Our viewing was conducted by Sue who was very kind and informative. That same day my offer was accepted and we are now in the process of buying our dream house!

GoogleReally good experience using Seymours in Horsell, Woking. I had the painful task of selling my parents home after they passed away and the agents were all very professional, but also personal. They understood the market really well, and took charge when things went wrong. The house needed a lot of updating but they found the right buyer's who were willing to take on the challenge, and saw the sale through to completion. The whole team were brilliant. Highly recommend if you're looking to buy or sell within the area.

GoogleMy house was on the market and not selling. I asked Seymours to take on my property and everything changed. They understood the market and viewings started. They had two buyers competing and I was able to sell. On route there were issues that could have made the sale fall through but James and his team were calm and handled the sale process to a successful conclusion. James is a professional and his senior experience was really important to get this sale done.

GoogleThis estate agent has been exemplary in terms of the service and the people who have helped with a recent purchase in the area. Charlie, Sandra and the team have been fantastic. During viewings, I had Charlie who provided a very professional experience and was extremely knowledgeable about the properties from its history, previous ownership, recent building/extension works and reasonings and aligning it to my values. During viewings, he also suggested different types of properties to help inform what options were available in case I missed them in my research. He has additionally spent time outside of working hours to help provide information and progress the purchase of the property. I can't state just how important he's been in making this process as easy as possible while providing a kind and caring personal touch when this is one of the biggest purchases a person can make

We were fortunate to be able to view several houses which met our criteria, and throughout our search we were helped by negotiator Serena Provenzano. She was incredibly pro-active on our behalf, sympathetic to our situation and anxious to help us find our dream home. She was quick to communicate and to respond to emails and telephone calls. GoogleSale of my late father-in-law’s property. Initial contact was with James Taylor who demonstrated a clear understanding of the market, was very open and honest on prospects and gave us confidence to proceed with seymours. The viewings were efficiently handled by Charlie Hanson and we were very happy with the quantity of offers and prices bid. Following a short and professional negotiation Sandra Mitchell looked after the stressful process leading to exchange of contacts. Even when very little was happening she kept us updated and gave us complete confidence that she was looking after our best interests. This was a difficult time for the family following the loss of such a loved man and we really appreciated how Seymour’s supported us.

GoogleSeymours worked with me recently to try to find a property as I am looking to downsize. The search is now on hold temporarily but their service was excellent. In particular Serena who was my main contact. Really well informed about the local area and she took a lot of time to really understand what I am looking for. Friendly and helpful and excellent at staying in regular contact without pressuring me. Would definitely want to use her again when I resume my search next year.
