months. The team were supportive, approachable, well organised and easy to communicate with. SJS were also very supportive during the conveyance process including harmonising communication across the chain which prevented any misunderstandings and ensured things kept moving. Overall, would highly recommend SJS as an estate agent. Grateful to them for getting us through what is In aria leave a difficult experience.

All the staff were approachable, very good communication, supportive & professional. Simon took the lead after we sold stc. We can't praise Simon enough. He kept us informed throughout the process, updated us on the solicitor's progress, always answered his emails & going above & beyond our expectations. Simon also communicated well with Haydon from our purchase estate agent regarding progress from that end of the chain & a comment from them was Simon is a lovely person to chat with π Well done! π

GoogleUnfortunately my Daughter and her friends have had a bad experience with this company. They took a holding deposit and are now refusing to refund it after telling them they failed the referencing. One of the girls had not even submitted her documents yet so could hardly fail. They have called them liars and have done credit checks on garantors without asking their permission. They also told my Daughter on the phone that the reason for keeping the holding deposit was referencing costs, which is illegal. They are now saying that the 3 friends were aware that they wouldn't get their deposit back, which is untrue. They now have to find somewhere else to rent and pay yet another holding deposit. Be very careful!!

In terms of how they conduct business, in terms of service (talking with 3 different people for one property with no mobiles), in terms of communication (very impolite). GoogleVery Professional Experience
From the moment we gave our instructions to Louis to put our home on the market, my partner and I knew we were in good hands. We got regular feedback soon after each viewing took place. The most reassuring thing is that SJ Smith will only take a property off the market once they feel confident in a buyersβ intention to buy and this was really tested when our 1st buyer. Although she really wanted to buy her home her buyer seemed to have problems getting a mortgage. Once this was proven to be the case, Louis called to say we needed to remarket which we did and now weβre moving to our new home in a couple of weeks.
Thank you Louis, Rob and Simon for all your great work in getting us moved. We really donβt believe we couldβve done it without you professionalism and help.
