A special thank you to Emily, who was extremely helpful from the very beginning. She showed us the property and was kind enough to rearrange a second viewing for us, making the whole experience very easy and comfortable. A massive thank you to Sally, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the purchase. She was always on top of everything and worked incredibly hard to ensure that both sets of solicitors kept matters moving quickly so that we could complete our purchase on time. Sally was extremely helpful, responsive and supportive throughout, and we really appreciated her dedication and professionalism. Buying a property can be stressful, but having such a helpful and proactive estate agent team made a real difference to us. Given the current climate and challenging housing market, Louis and his team were extremely professional throughout. Worst company ever,they steal your holding deposit, extremely rude agitated people's, before paying any money think twice I just lucky enough didn't pay whole deposit,may I not get money back but I did report this company for discrimination and stealing money everywhere where I could!!!

GoogleTerrible agency to help get a place sorted out. Firstly, I was given a document to sign to confirm my “holding deposit” and they couldn’t be arsed to put a date on it or any further details. It took about 4 days of back and fourth calling to say to them I’ve just got employed so I’m unable to give them payslip documents as I was relocating for work, and they only JUST found out after about a week of our conversations back and fourth the house I was looking to let isn’t actually on the market. To top it off, they can’t even remember who’s calling them apparently. Would not recommend 👍

GoogleI was, as a tenant for a year with them and my experience was terrible. I reported them several maintenance issues and they were reluctant to respond. Every time I called them for follow up they made silly excuses to push the matter. I’ve never experienced such behaviour with any other letting agent. They are the worst one in ashford, I guess. Never recommended

GoogleI put my house on the market early February and completed 13th July. Throughout, the service I received from all staff was very good,all very helpful. Namely Louis who took on a massive hands on role,constantly in touch, in person and on the phone, and always taking pressure off me when things became stressful. Nothing was too much effort for him and all done with great efficiency,calmness and full transparency. I cannot recommend him or SJSmith highly enough from start to finish. GoogleMessers! Took my deposit, a week before I’m due to move in told me they ‘can’t get hold of the landlord’ and can’t move In. Found another property in the same building, found out someone else moved into the property the same week I paid my deposit. Absolute jokers! If I didn’t find another property with a different agent I would have been left homeless!

GoogleI would highly recommend SJ Smith Estate Agents, especially Simon and Hayden, who were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process of completing my sale. It was a long and stressful journey with constant back and forth between solicitors, the lender, and the management company, but Simon and Hayden really helped push everything forward and speed things up. Even with very short notice, they managed everything professionally and were always available whenever I needed help or updates. Their communication, dedication, and support made a huge difference, and I truly appreciate all the effort they both put in to get everything completed. YellAWFUL
Awful, awful, awful. Unprofessional behaviour, unlawfully withholding the holding deposit and disgusting attitude towards potential tenants. Arrived late to a viewing and then had three families at the same time, rushed through the viewing and pressure to put down a deposit. No formal information provided or explained. If I were a landlord I would not rent my house through them and will never use their services again. Formal complaint in process with Ombudsman and Trading standards.
