GoogleAvoid for property management - Negligent estate agent who left a dangerous boiler fault unaddressed, despite numerous reports, in a property full of tenants that they “manage”.

GoogleI've had a great service from Alex and the team at Staines - not just in the selling but in the help and communications that have come since.

GoogleVery unprofessional estate agents. I would avoid going to these amateurs at all cost. They pressured us into paying the deposit and 6 months rent up front even before the tenancy agreement was signed by all parties. We warned them that the property was up for sale at the same time it was being advertised as a rental. They assured us there would be no issues. Lo and behold, 5 weeks later, the landlord decides he doesn't want renters in the house (that's what we were told - I didn't believe a word they were saying tbh). The whole thing fell through and we were left with nowhere to live! My wife is 7 months pregnant and we have an 18 month old toddler - no one seemed to care or apologise for the incident. Avoid!

GoogleAlex and his team from SJ Smith in Staines helped me with a purchase after a bad experience with another estate agents in Staines. I can't quite put into words how helpful, supportive and patient Alex has been. He was my contact at every step of the way and went over and above to ensure we got to the point of exchange. I genuinely don't think the transaction would have happened without his input. Don't look elsewhere, SJ Smiths are most certainly the best Estate Agents in Staines. I'll be eternally grateful Alex!

GoogleMyself and my husband have been thoroughly impressed by the service we received from SJ Smith. Alex Rumsey gave us an exceptional service. He was professional, pro-active, transparent, good humoured, approachable and kept the flow of communication going with frequent updates. We felt that he really understood what we were looking for and was incredibly patient with our requests etc. If he didn’t know the answer to something , he would refer us to someone who did and promptly too. This estate agent will be our go to in the future for sure. He’s a real asset to SJ Smith.

GoogleAfter having our property on the market with a competitor for 10 months and sold several times but let down at the last minute we decided to change our Estate Agent to SJ.Smith. Alex and his brilliant team qualified the potential buyers prior to going forward with the sale. This made all the difference as it was sold, contracts exchanged and completed in six weeks! We were able to witness Brandon, one of the sales persons in a viewing and he was so enthusiastic and informative about our property the buyers were so impressed as were we. All our telephone calls were answered and if we did leave any messages we had a response back imminently. I cannot recommend their services highly enough, they are totally professional in every detail. Our only regret is that we could have saved ourselves a lot of time and stress if we had sought out SJ.Smith in the first instance.

GoogleI had the absolute pleasure of working with Alex and Nicola from SJ Smith Staines from start to finish in my recent property purchase, and I am impressed with their outstanding service. Throughout the entire journey, communication was impeccable. Alex was always available to answer my questions, and they consistently kept me updated on developments in the buying process. And Alex suggested mortgage advisor from SJ Smith Mr. Vince Cuva was also exceptionally good and he expertly navigated the negotiation process on my behalf with lenders. Thanks to his diligence and strategic approach, I was able to secure decent interest rate. Overall, working with Alex, Nicola and Vince was an absolute pleasure. They made what can often be a daunting and overwhelming process feel like a breeze. Thanks to their customer care and dedication, I am now a proud homeowner. I wholeheartedly recommend SJ Smith to anyone in search of a estate agent.

GoogleWe’ve moved several times in recent years and this has definitely been our best experience of an Estate Agency from start to finish. The team at Smiths have high standards, including good communication, courtesy and professionalism. Special thanks to excellent manager, Chad and to Simon for seamlessly seeing things through.

GoogleWe have had an outstanding service from Smiths. Their communication has been exemplary- timely, respectful and professional. Really appreciated the feedback after every viewing and the way they listened and responded to any concerns. They showed integrity in the way they dealt with potential buyers and liaised really well with solicitors from start to finish. House sales always have the potential to be fraught with anxiety, but the staff at Smith's did everything they could to minimise this and keep the process straightforward and manageable. I can recommend them unreservedly.
