Found to be very poor at communicating, despite leaving numerous voice msgs and sending emails no one replied to anything, I called yet again to speak to some one and they promised a call back with information I requested, no one called back so called again following day and nearly a week later no reply, call again today as still not one phone call back and told gone! would recommend either hiring more staff or really try and work on the communication side of your business!

Dear Mr Gray, We are so disappointed to receive this review as it does not reflect our outstanding customer service that we pride ourselves on. Because of this we have investigated this further and have been informed that you had enquired about a property and had wanted a specific start date for your tenancy, our branch staff spoke to the landlord regarding this but the landlord told them they wanted a tenant who had viewed the property. A member of staff did leave you a message passing on this information. However the next time you rang unfortunately the tenant had been accepted and an application had been submitted. The rental market is incredibly competitive as well as fast paced and landlords want their properties filled as soon as they can, some often have specific requirements that our staff must take into account. We do our best for both our landlords and potential tenants and we ask the questions but we can only do what our landlords ask of us. Which in this case was to go with an application from someone who had already viewed the property. We’re sorry you felt that there was a lack of communication, this is never how we want of our clients to feel. However our staff did try to update you but they did need to leave a message as you were unavailable. We wish you all the best with your property search and are of course we're here to help you with any future property.

Rooke Matthew sayer helped us by our first and second home, Allister Bowman helped us acquire our offer and he was brilliant he became like a friend to me and my partner explaining every step and checking in on us when he didn’t have to go that extra mile, we wouldn’t use anyone else.

I would like to reaffirm my experience in selling my property through the Ashington branch of Rook Mathews Sayers. All of the staff involved were brilliant from start to finish. The initial contact was professional, on time and exact. The publicity photos were done extremely well, and must have helped in the very quick sale of the property in question. I was kept up to speed with progress, sometimes on a daily basis, when advice was sought, it was given freely and expertly. Second time we have used Rook Matthews (Blyth) for a purchase of a property and Alistair from RMS Ashington for Mortgage advice and sorting a mortgage out. Can't fault anything, literally all stress is taken out of it. Alistair on both occasions we have been paired with him has been fantastic, really helpful, communication is brilliant, always there if you need him, and offers good honest advice. We personally wouldn't ever look to use another estate agent which as such is why we've always only looked at properties by RMS as we know staff right through from general admin to the mortgage advisors are good at what they do and won't let you down. We thank you again for helping us in buying such a beautiful house.

Had a brilliant experience from start to finish with Rook Matthews Sayers in Ashington. Alistair Bowman and the ladies in the branch we all brilliant. Alistair from the off was really engaged and listened to my needs, and then in really good time found the perfect mortgage for me. He kept me informed throughout with regular updates, even if it was just a no-info check in but just to say things were still in progress and on track. At every turn he was there to keep us informed and most importantly kept his promise with everything along the way in terms of updates, agreed phone calls, and any general requirements. The ladies in the branch were also brilliant, they also kept me informed throughout, and every time I rang in and asked them to to organise things like additional viewings or general info updates they treat me like a priority, they always acted on the ask and kept me informed within a decent time, again even if they couldn't get in touch with the seller they would give me a quick courtesy call to let me know they have tried but left message and will chase accordingly. Overall I couldn't fault the whole team and the experience received from start to finish was nothing short of brilliant. Thank you all I really did appreciate all your support.

We recently used the broker service at RMS in Ashington. Alistair Bowman has been a fantastic guide throughout the process of buying our new home - from our opening meeting where he extensively laid out the end to end process to supporting us at each step of the way. We have had a number of issues with solicitors during our purchase and Alistair has constantly provided reassurance with professional and valued input. Alistair was very proactive and chased a number of elements in the process to try and speed up our house move. We are incredibly grateful for the service we received.

He took my partner and I through every step of the way, keeping us on the right track and rapidly answering our (many!) questions. He made the whole experience a lot less stressful.
