Stolen money from me

Stolen money from me. Use this firm for letting of a property and they use the tenants deposit to protect there own cost. Not mine. Deductions made from my deposit without my authority. Also done exactly the same to a friend who they also let out there property. The property was turned in to drugs factory and scumbags withheld money which they had no rights to. I will never use them again.

Rude estate agent

Today I accompanied my mum to a house viewing and the estate agents showing us around was awful. For the first few minutes that we were in the house she was perfectly pleasant and professional. However, after a conversation between my mum and I where we indicated that the kitchen and garden may be too small for my mum’s needs, the member of staff very quickly became rude and dismissive of everything we said, and her entire demeaner changed to one of irritation. After seeing the downstairs, I asked my mum if she wanted to look upstairs. Before my mum could even answer, your member of staff cut her off with a very sharp “What’s the point in looking upstairs if you’ve already decided it’s wrong?”. Firstly, we hadn’t decided that it was “wrong”, we were just commenting on things as we saw them (we also made lots of positive comments). Secondly, I was addressing the question to my mum because she has mobility issues, and what I was really asking her was “are you physically comfortable enough to go upstairs today?”, which my mum knew, but didn’t get the chance to answer because she was very rudely cut-off. Thirdly, if we’ve travelled there to see the house, we’re going to want to see all of it. That should be common sense. After seeing the rest of the house and making lots of positive comments, we were discussing it in the downstairs hallway. It was obvious that the estate agent just wanted us to leave, she had clearly decided that we were wasting her time. When discussing the garden, mum said that she ideally wanted something bigger. The estate agent asked where mum lived, and then snapped “Well, the garden you’ve got is like a postage stamp!” which was very rude and totally irrelevant. Mum had already explained that she has mobility issues, and now she explained it again, stating that the reason she wanted a bigger garden than what she has now is because she’s struggling to walk to dogs and she wants them to have a big garden to be able to run around in. My mum shouldn’t have to explain her motivations of her criteria for a house to the estate agent, especially when she had already told the member of staff that she has a disability. That is none of the estate agent’s business! We both loved the house and mum is considering putting an offer in, but staff should be trained to a better standard than that.

STOP using IamSold

Good agents & great friendly service. BUT STOP using IamSold auctions. My understanding is that you get paid for each property referred to them but you're more than capable to sell it yourself. IamSold rip off sellers with shocking fees & have terrible customer service.

Used before but will not use again

Iv used Reeds Rains twice before and found them to be excellent. But i will NEVER use them again and would consider not buying and property on there listings I would say we had 70% of are viewers complain about Reeds Rains not get backing touch in a reasonable time regarding viewings,one viewer waited over a week before he had to ring them again.We also seemed to last minute calls at 4.50pm regarding viewings for the next day.One viewer left have way through the viewing because of a double booking ( obviously not following any government guidelines )Our House did sell but from that moment on did not hear a thing from them from selling to moving was 10 weeks and did not hear a thing.On the day of the move our purchaser was ring us in regards to the keys Reeds Rain had seem to of wash the hands of having to do anymore.Hull Branch

Unauthorised marketing - unable to unsubscribe

I contacted Reeds Rains to arrange a viewing. Subsequently and without my permission they added me to their marketing scheme. I tried to simply unsubscribe ALL but then had to uncheck 8 separate boxes before clicking update. Logging back in I can see all boxes are unchecked BUT I'm still being spammed with junk mail.I emailed Reeds Rains but they ignored me.Can anyone suggest an organisation I can complain to please? Reeds Rains Wilmslow- Very rude estate…

Reeds Rains Wilmslow- Very rude estate agents who lie. My house fell through with them on numerous occasions due to them failing to disclose information that I had told them too early on with the buyers. I was not given updates and the trust was gone because of their incompetence for 8 months, so when I called them weekly I was told I was the worst seller that they had by the manager. When buying my new house privately from the owner I found a Reeds Rains Sold sign in my front garden, they had not sold the property so this was miss leading and false representation.I have now had my house two years and the house opposite has has a sold sign in their front garden which has been there nearly as long as I’ve had my house! They have no idea on the houses they sell (I have had viewings with them), miss lead customers, are money driven and have bad customer service which is rolled down from the top. Very sad for what was once family run estate agent.

Twice now I’ve been ignored

Sent a request to view of a house and heard nothing so phoned to enquirer, I was told I’m on a list and will get a call in a week or so. Never heard a thing and when I phoned they then told me sale agreed. Asked why I was never contacted and they said my name wasn’t on the list which I was told a week before it was so one staff member was lying. The fact this has happened twice now is ridiculous, just seems like laziness. So disappointed.
