GoogleI was in the sad position of selling my Aunts house after her death. Matthew Candow at Reeds Rains Portishead office was a great help. He did exactly what he said that he would do, when he said that he would do it! It started with the valuation, I had to get 3. Reeds Rains provided it with no problem. I had to chase the other 2 estate agents. Then we had issues in obtaining probate, again Matt kept in touch with me and basically told me when to put the house on the market. I live in the north of England so commuting was difficult. I constantly asked him to do me favours to save me the 7hour round trip. Nothing was too much trouble for him or his colleagues, each request was granted with no fuss. He offered me advice when I needed it and listened when I got emotional! I would not hesitate to recommend him or his office if you were selling your house.

GoogleThe team were so patient with the sale of my shared-ownership, leasehold apartment I really would reccommend them. Over a period of 11 months they did countless viewings, dealt with the high demand, secured 3 different buyers and kept me updated throughout the 6 month progression of the final sale. The complications shared ownership brought were handled very professionally by Charlotte and her knowledge and support is outstanding. Faultless service from start to finish, a huge thanks to Charlotte, Matt and the team!

GoogleWe sold and purchased our houses through Reeds Rains between September 2024 till July 2025. Our straight forward sale somehow experienced few drawbacks, firstly by some time wasting buyers in the beginning. When we received a firm offer from our first serious buyer, she lost her own buyers twice which meant our sale were back to square one, while our purchase was ready for exchange. During that time Matt and Steve in the Portishead branch has worked very hard to get us back onto the market for a sale again. This time round Steve had found us a first time buying couples who were just as keen to move as us. However, toward the final stage up till the exchanges we had experienced various issues again and this time Steve had work extremely hard to liaise with all of the solicitors and finally got us all move to our new houses. My experienced with Reeds Rains Portishead branch had been positive and although there were set back in the process, the team had always been very professional and worked hard for us to achieve our sale and purchase our new dream house, thank you.

GoogleReed Rains Clevedon were the Estate Agent appointed for the property that we sought to buy earlier this year. We were allocated Brooke Adlam as our viewing agent - and to say we were impressed with her would be an understatement. Totally professional, always polite, excellent with her communication and always quick to respond to queries in the buying process. But above all that, Miss Adlam gained our trust with her ethos of treating both seller and buyer with equal respect. At no point did she play one against the other. Instead, she ensured that the seller received good, unbiased information that helped the seller agree on her final selling price. Six months on, we are settled into our new home and based on my 5-star experience, I would thoroughly recommend Reed Rains Clevedon branch to anyone considering estate agent services in the future.
