GoogleThis is the best real estate agent I've worked with. You can expect 24h response on a working day. Chloe is espcially great on accommodating my needs moving from the US to the UK. She's the reason I am working with this agent. Phoebe helped me a lot in the check-in day and I really appreciate that. I was unsure between properties but their service made up my mind. No one wants to deal with an agent that does not reply to your emails.

Currently viewing a lot of properties. Appointment to view a property with R A Bennett. Met punctually with a warm welcome by Trainee negotiator Maya from the Dursley office. Maya handed me a set of particulars (the only negotiator to have details ready to give to me on viewing from the 4 properties that I had viewed that week with other agents). Big plus. All questions that I asked were either answered from notes at hand or written down for the information to be relayed to me later. The appointment was unhurried. A few key features highlighted without being too verbose or over the top. That evening I received an email with clear answers to questions that I had asked such as general running costs, who owned and was responsible for which boundary. Excellent service and a diligent member of staff.

GoogleOur experience was a nightmare. We moved in into a flat left in very poor conditions and we had a lot of issues trying to work with the landlord or the agency or with their collaborators. We moved in during November with no light in one bedroom, reported it immediately, and it took months to have it fixed, while they were trying to blame us for it taking so long. At the end of the tenancy, the landlord tried to bill us for more than £1,100 of “damages” and extra cleaning: a rug that they threw away after they agreed to it, a “missing” bedside unit that we clearly left and took pictures of, a blanket we never saw, damage to a fridge cupboard that was there to start with, and a wobbly towel rail that was ordinary wear and tear. They also pushed for deep cleaning, oven, and carpet cleans even though the place was not handed to us in that condition, but we paid for professional cleaning when we moved out. They even tried to charge for redecoration despite scuffs at check-in and a tenancy of about 3.5 years. We challenged everything and an independent adjudicator agreed with us on every point. Result: £0 awarded to the landlord, which was proof that they were trying to take advantage of us and make us pay for all the things they should have done. Both moving in and out were extremely stressful and frustrating. In short, inflated claims, inaccurate inventories, and pressure tactics. Look elsewhere.

Although we didn’t end up going for the property in the end, Katie was incredibly well-versed, super friendly, and very informative throughout.
