Just relet the property again after some substantial renovation works over a long period. Connor came in just as the works were finishing. He gave good advice and was pro-active in getting it back on the market finding a suitable new tenant very quickly and helping organise a few last minute items that were necessary. Very happy and a big thanks to Connor and the Stratford team!! From 2021: Highly recommended! Great service from the outset and all the way through from preparing the property to let, through to ongoing maintenance issues. Required works were managed efficiently and effectively.

Our experience was a nightmare. We moved in into a flat left in very poor conditions and we had a lot of issues trying to work with the landlord or the agency or with their collaborators. We moved in during November with no light in one bedroom, reported it immediately, and it took months to have it fixed, while they were trying to blame us for it taking so long. At the end of the tenancy, the landlord tried to bill us for more than £1,100 of “damages” and extra cleaning: a rug that they threw away after they agreed to it, a “missing” bedside unit that we clearly left and took pictures of, a blanket we never saw, damage to a fridge cupboard that was there to start with, and a wobbly towel rail that was ordinary wear and tear. They also pushed for deep cleaning, oven, and carpet cleans even though the place was not handed to us in that condition, but we paid for professional cleaning when we moved out. They even tried to charge for redecoration despite scuffs at check-in and a tenancy of about 3.5 years. We challenged everything and an independent adjudicator agreed with us on every point. Result: £0 awarded to the landlord, which was proof that they were trying to take advantage of us and make us pay for all the things they should have done. Both moving in and out were extremely stressful and frustrating. In short, inflated claims, inaccurate inventories, and pressure tactics. Look elsewhere.

Would not use them again. Unprofessional of me to mention names but there was no communication between them, no 1 person dealing with your sale, everyone trying to do everything so consequently very poor customer service. Can’t get hold of them by phone. Gave my keys to my buyer when I had not completed my onward purchase. The list is endless……… caused me a lot of unnecessary stress

I have recently let my property in Stratford-Upon-Avon with R A Bennett and partners. I contacted them when I was buying the property with the view to letting. This has been such a positive experience in letting a property I would highly recommend Dal Baines as your letting agent. He listed our property on Friday and after a few showings over the weekend had found our tenant by the following Tuesday, a week later all the paperwork completed and the tenant was in! Dal Bains and Megan Long have been incredible. We needed to move asap and found a beautiful affordable flat. Megan showed us around and was very enthusiastic for us, even contacted me on her day off around Christmas to update me. Dal was able to spot a couple things he could help speed up and got in touch straight away, throughout the day he kept us updated and informed us our next step to ensure efficiency. At 6pm (an hour after he was due to finish!!) He called with all brilliant news, he managed to get everything done and we got the tenancy agreement signed. Dal really went above and beyond at every opportunity, and Megan made a massive effort for us from the moment she greeted us at the viewing. Everything was done quickly and professionally and we actually completed the letting process in 24 hours, once I'd identified a property that I wanted to rent. Dal was also a huge help in that he prepared everything and minimised my own admin to two brief visits and an online form. He resolved every problem and he was also warm and empathetic, understanding that the process feels stressful for the person renting. Megan has continued the service. Like many people I didn't have a very high opinion of estate agents but when my Dad chose Bennetts to sell my parents' house, I was impressed straight away by Emma's efficiency, integrity and kindness. Lauren and Claire were also good. We were pleased to get offers in quickly and to secure buyers. My only criticism would be that communication with us was sometimes patchy and it sometimes felt like individual members of staff were not talking to each other and passing information on.

After having met Amelia at Bennetts and giving her a run for her money with questions as to why should we engage you, we were highly satisfied with all her answers and have been absolutely delighted and reassured as to the support the whole team provide. Straight talk and a passion for selling dedicated to the buyer. This team are on it, did all my viewings and maintained a highly professional calm approach.
