Discriminatory Renter,
They do not accept people on benefits, now I get that maybe some people deem that they shouldn't be allowed to rent but given that I could afford what they ask for they deem to be Mid-Market on citylets website. I have enough to cover this. It's not my fault that I am unable to work I am trying too get my health in order to work I previously did do part time but had to leave and wish too get back into some part time work. But they outright say no. It has nothing to do with affordability in the slightest when you can prove that you can afford.
It is outrageous and quite frankly this is the reason why companies should be prosecuted for building houses and complexes etc and taken green spaces away when it provides no more actually affordable and rental properties for people especially people who don't want to be claiming benefits but unfortunately weren't exactly able to work and it isn't there fault but yet companies like these taking up so many properties make it impossible for us to rent causing more health concerns long term as if its this hard too find suitable accomodation its not exactly helping your health whilst trying to find somewhere. It's no wonder the UK has a huge housing emergency at the moment because of companies like these and many others making it impossible to rent. They also make you review the company on a specific website which is very interesting as you don't therefore see many bad reviews I wonder why?

It is the second time we are using Platform Property. Five years ago we used Platform to buy our first house and they were excellent, so we decided to use them again in the sale of our house. GoogleLiving at PLATFORM_ Cardiff has been a deeply disappointing experience. The building is located in a chaotic area, with constant noise from police sirens, traffic, and disturbances from nearby hostels and drug activity. The proximity to the Huggard Centre and Butetown makes the area feel unsafe and uncomfortable, especially with frequent encounters with aggressive behavior and substance abuse right outside the building.
The apartments themselves are poorly constructed and maintained. The build quality is subpar, with issues like uneven doors, drafty windows, and faulty light switches that build up heat and crack. The management is reactive at best, often ignoring or delaying responses to residents' concerns. I spent months without working lights in my living room, and even after reporting the issue multiple times, the problem was only temporarily fixed.
The noise from the street, nearby venues, and other residents is incessant, making it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. The management's lack of enforcement of noise regulations, particularly on the roof terrace, adds to the stress of living here. Additionally, the gym, while adequate, is poorly managed, with residents frequently using the equipment for social media videos or phone calls, rather than for exercise.
In short, PLATFORM_ Cardiff is overpriced and underdelivers on every front. If you value peace, quality, and competent management, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. My time here has been more of a burden than a home, and I regret choosing this place to live.
