I really enjoyed my stay at PLATFORM. The staff were always friendly, its always kept clean and the gym was always well maintained. Any problems (there was only the boiler i couldn't figure out how to get it working) it was fixed super quick. There was little noise on my side and I never used the heating once because its so well insulated. I enjoyed the evening events they hold also. A happy living experience for me. Thank you

Do not move here!! The stress of living here gave me severe anxiety and caused me to lose my hair. The management here (in particular Jason) is the worst you could EVER come across. If you live here put EVERYTHING in writing. Some issues I experienced here: I was walked in on naked 3 times in my own apartment due to people having “the wrong list” - once was with someone on a viewing! Dog fouling every single day without consequences & without being cleaned. The longest I had an uncleaned poo outside my door was over a MONTH. They clean before viewings so you won’t see the real Platform until you live there. Within a month or so of living in the building the place flooded due to being improperly built. We ended up having to move our entire life belongings THREE times. By the time of moving out we did 5 entire house moves within 12 months. Every room we were put in was filthy so we had to do 3 deep cleans too. In one of the moves we were left without access to a working shower for a WEEK. I was locked in my room for over 24 hours due to the lock failing and them failing to send anyone out to fix the locks. They never announced contractors - they would turn up without notice expecting to be let even on evenings and weekends One of the times I was walked in on naked was by a contractor. They had emailed me in the morning to say no contractors were in the building, yet an hour later a contractor walked up the camera-free route and walked into my room. They give them unmonitored access to the entire building. Your safety (and your belonging’s safety) is not a priority at Platform. I had to beg for a camera due to these safety concerns and even then, it took 10 months and they only put one on floor 8. The rest of the rooms are unmonitored - if someone enters your room when you’re not there, there won’t be any evidence! They break data protection if you put in complaints as they will gossip to other residents about you and vice versa. It’s also opposite the homeless shelter. They steal food orders and some of them force their way in the building after you with needles in hand. If not, they shoot up in the doorways at night instead. We are have now been living in another dog-friendly apartment block since November and there has not been a single incident of dog fouling in the whole place, nor any security concerns. Some of our new neighbours used to live in Platform and broke their tenancy early just to leave. Some saw the place and were disgusted so they never chose it. In contrast, we have all already decided we are signing on for another year at our new accommodation. Do not make the mistake of choosing Platform!!

Living at PLATFORM_ Cardiff has been a deeply disappointing experience. The building is located in a chaotic area, with constant noise from police sirens, traffic, and disturbances from nearby hostels and drug activity. The proximity to the Huggard Centre and Butetown makes the area feel unsafe and uncomfortable, especially with frequent encounters with aggressive behavior and substance abuse right outside the building. The apartments themselves are poorly constructed and maintained. The build quality is subpar, with issues like uneven doors, drafty windows, and faulty light switches that build up heat and crack. The management is reactive at best, often ignoring or delaying responses to residents' concerns. I spent months without working lights in my living room, and even after reporting the issue multiple times, the problem was only temporarily fixed. The noise from the street, nearby venues, and other residents is incessant, making it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. The management's lack of enforcement of noise regulations, particularly on the roof terrace, adds to the stress of living here. Additionally, the gym, while adequate, is poorly managed, with residents frequently using the equipment for social media videos or phone calls, rather than for exercise. In short, PLATFORM_ Cardiff is overpriced and underdelivers on every front. If you value peace, quality, and competent management, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. My time here has been more of a burden than a home, and I regret choosing this place to live.

A lovely place to live, apartments are modern and spacious, our George loves the pet-friendly rooftop terrace 🐾 Jason and the staff at Platform are absolutely fantastic! Jason is always there to help with any questions or concerns, (although, we can probably never move or we will upset our dog because he loves Jason too) and the rest of the staff are super friendly and attentive. They truly make you feel like part of a community. Living here has been such a great experience thanks to them!

Have moved in as of this week. All the staff have been helpful with answering any questions or concerns I had and have made moving in a breeze. Double room flat is fantastic and very warm. Parking is at an extra cost but definitely worth it as there are doors from the carpark to enter "very useful for moving in!" Me and my partner feel very safe with the 24hr security service and phob entery on almost every door. Highly recommended moving here as its a 5 minute walk from almost everything! Love it!

Nadine was brilliant, has helped us through picking our flat, showed us around, answered all our questions patiently and has made everything easier. We have just moved in today, with the great help from Rachel, one of the staff. She made sure that we were okay and checked up on us while we were going through the process of getting the flat. She has been a great help and has gone above and beyond to help me and my partner through the paperwork. The building is beautiful and well decorated, our apartment is beautiful and has been fully cleaned before we moved in. We have a part furnished apartment and the furnishings are really good quality. Platform_ is welcoming to all pets which is great for us. I am so happy to be living in such a beautiful apartment, in a great building. The apartments are very spacious, we are in a 1 bedroom apartment.

The staff is very disrespectful. The staff threatened to evict my friend or in their own words "throw us out" just because we unknowingly threw a glass bottle in the communal bin. Both these female and male staff members have been verbally aggressive and threatening. This is not something anyone would tolerate as a tenant and I would not recommend anyone living here as they have pathetic staff who have not been trained on how to treat tenants even with the exorbitant rent they charge!

Rented their guest room for 2 nights to visit my friend. 80£/night with beddings provided. But soon realised that this is a very poorly managed residential property, no bin/toilet rolls provided in the guest room, no access to Wi-Fi, also the room has a strong smell of paint. Further, the lift in the building is scary. It drops like a rollercoaster. Meanwhile it’s very smelly, that odour seems to come from a resident’s undertrained dog.

My Client and I met with Sara at the Platform office/site and she was so helpful showing us two available one bed apartments and then also the show flat to show the excellent furnishings provided if required. a very good gym is part of the package there and a lovely roof terrace for the tenants. She also answered all the questions my client needed to know to rent one of these apartments. Recommend them highly.
