Excellent Service
This score was a no brainer. First class professional service.Regan genuinely made me feel like every question I asked wasn’t to much trouble, alongside her knowledge which in my opinion is a nice surprise and second to none. Definitely a lady that will be flying exceptional further given the chance. Even on a busy day she will still return your call and answer any queries. Thank you for being so genuine and treating me like a person and not a number.

Regan Spence
Regan Spence conducted our business in a professional and efficient manner. She was punctual, polite and remained calm whilst a particularly annoying and rude member or the public was determined to disrupt our business. An asset to her company and a pleasure to deal with.

Disgusting conditions with damp and mould
Absolutely shocking condition of the flats on Harewood Park Estate. Almost every flat has an issue with damp and mould and the company has done nothing about it. I moved from a previous PFP flat in Hemlington (where I had a couple of different issues) but didn’t have anywhere near the level of issues that I have in my new flat. I have damp in EVERY bedroom and really bad mould despite me taking every possible step to stop this. They are allowing people to live in dire conditions without taking any responsibility. I have only been in my property for 6 months and already suffered £100’s if not thousands of pounds worth of damage. ALL of my clothes are covered and damp, I’ve replaced 3 beds , my triple wardrobe is covered in mould. I can’t even put flooring down out of fear that it too will get ruined. Honestly don’t know how this company gets away with it.
Sorry to read this, Shannon. Have you reported these issues via our complaint team? Can I please ask you to send your address and details of these issues through your online account:https://homestorent.placesforpeople.co.uk/manage-your-home/or alternatively, you can email: customerfocusteam@placesforpeople.co.ukThanks KL, Customer Focus

Overall good
I am quite shocked to read these reviews, i have always had first class service from the Maintenance side, no problems whatsoever. The only gripe i do have is, i have waited and still waiting for my fence repair, which i reported about 18 months ago, in that time we have replaced 2 others ourselves. As we do have a dog, and grandchildren visit, we do not need escapies.

Ive been with PFP 11 years
Ive been with PFP 11 years, I got the house through the B with Us, I know numerous families in other housing association's connected to BwithUs and they have an excellent repair service, even have upgrades after a set amount of years like bathrooms and kitchens, When i asked for new kitchen cupboards because the ones i had were old rotting and hanging off, all they did was turn the doors the opposite way around, so they could fix the hinges to something other than the side with rotting wood..I have repairs ive waited years to be done regardless of MPs and Ombudsman getting involved, the company is still reluctant to spend any money on repairing things as they should...I wish i knew how bad they were years ago before i agreed to them being my landlords..

I have been with PFP from when they…
I have been with PFP from when they took over from north British housing I fill they should go back to the old name as PFP means nothing they don’t help and treat older people like dogs muck !! We have had so much trouble with our neighbours over a good few years to find they don’t want older people like as we are disabled pensioners & in our 70s .we should not live in our house but in a home and they are going to make our lives hell.we told PFP we were told it just words and things like making dogs bark driving big vans on the pavement at us being head butted & now camaras put to spy on us I was also reported to the D.V.L.A by our neighbours by saying I should not drive as I was having fits and blackouts that’s what people do here and PFP If you don’t like it just move out and go private as it’s your fault !.We were told I swore whilst on lockdown that I swore at one of there office staff who kept asking me to come off being phoned by them 3 or more times about welfare issues because I told him I wanted to stay on the welfare calls because he kept on I then told him to stop the calls as I did not like the way he was telling me what to do and what he was saying so I put the phone down .I received a letter by someone else from PFP saying I swore at him by mumbling it also said in the letter said my tenancy was at risk or could be broken this was because I put the phone down on the way people at PFP talk to you ! This is only a few things that as happens to me so be aware of PFP !!!

We eventually managed to go and view this first floor flat at Newbiggin Way Macclesfield for my mother due to her ability not to deal with stairs in her home anymore. The company lead us to the view that it rented out good property. The flat was an absolute disgrace, which needed a total refurbishment.Considering all the mither sorting out the issue to get a visit, we where totally misled by this company's views on a nice home, and will not bother to view their properties again.

Places for people ltd
Dont even deserve one star. Places for people. Absolutely disgusting , disgraceful cow boy of a company. Massive maintenance charges especially on free hold properties on there estates. Level of maintenance is very poor and management could not give a toss. After years of complain they still do nothing. Basically its a racketeering organisation. As a free holder I have no legal recourse so am under constant threat of my house being repossessed by them if I don't pay the maintenance fee. I have even written them said I cant afford to pay and there fees will push my family out on the streets and explained I have a disabled child but they just ignored my complain and continued to charge extortionate fee which rises evey year. This is a typical example of a big company using the law to fleece the poor. No ethics or morals at all. If yiu affected by there charges even if your paying rent (the maintenance fee will be hidden in your rent) please look up Hornets home owners association and see the millions of people effected by this disgusting company and companies like it.

You should have more respect!!
The managers do not care about their staff that they have working for them. The employees are treated truest badly and this is not acceptable for anyone to be treated with no respect. They do not have job satisfaction where they are currently working and as this current situation is still very current most of the staff do not know where they are each day. I think it’s disgraceful how little you respect the petiole dealing with the customers each and every day. You should count yourself as not human for this.

Behind on rent due to current world situation
Absolute cowboy of a housing association... do not care of tenants current circumstances... and the fact is the worlds in financial crisis ... they say rent is priority .. So is every other household bill, I’m sure the government has told them they can’t send court letters out or evict at the moment .... anyways keep away from renting off them they don’t care about tenants, can’t wait for the letters to come will be going straight to the papers

Great cleaning service Octavia Court Watford
For a couple of month Octavia Court Watford has new cleaning staff. Since the cleaning service definitely improved. The service is more accurate, the hallways mopped properly and the cleaning staff has a very polite attitude with tenants. He keeps social distance and uses mask . Also the laundry cleaned properly, bin changed and the washing machines whipped. Tenants are happy with the service.

Places for People have now set up an appointment service by phone
Places for People have now set up a fantastic option which makes life so much easier for their tenants. If you make an inquiry via customer services they provide a link and you can book a call back at a time that suits you, Not sure it is for all services but I used it for the DD section and it was so easy to make an appointment and the service I received was excellent

What a sham of a company...
What a sham of a company left us for 11 years with a water storage tank in the loft which kept breaking and causing us to flood several times wrecking decor and carpets. They finally sorted it in the 12th year being here and have now left us with a dripping pipe under bathroom sink that we cant report as due to covid it's not classed as an emergency repair even though we have to leave a towel down daily. They should be ashamed if themselves for how they treat their paying customers.

I have had the downfall of awakening up…
I have had the downfall of awakening up one Saturday morning in early February and I opened my kitchen window blinds and I noticed that one of my wild bird 🦅 feeding Poles has fallen to the garden floor and then I properly looked and my 25foot in length and 6 feet high wooden fence was the culprit of my fence and not only the fence it had also brought my two washing lines down meaning I haven’t been to hang any of the newly washed clothing and other cotton things such as bedding sheets etc and so I tried to telephone Places For People up and there’s a answer phone message saying that because of the amount of blown down fences there’s a very long wait for the phone to get answered. So I emailed Places For People and then on the following Tuesday or Wednesday I phoned again and spoke to a person that works for P.F.People and let them know that it’ll be around about the 7th July 2020 that they’ll be able to make a start on my fence. A few weeks ago somebody came and took photographs of the wooden fence which is lying down on the ground and he also took a couple of photographs of my lounge ceiling which as been badly stained after the boiler of the flat above my flat had leaked. And that was at least a couple of years ago so I phoned PFP up and the Lady who’s answered suggested “couldn’t you make a claim on your house insurance Mr Nalty” I was blinking annoyed and that suggestion. I along with the rest of the the tenants shouldn’t have to put up with this, and then a pandemic hits the world. Places for People has now said that in 3 months I and all of my neighbours would be receiving a letter. So nowadays I have to be waiting a long time when I am drying the things out of my washing machine on a clothes horse and because my home is at the edge of a large vehicle car park and lots of people have to walk across it whilst going to the shopping area in Plungington Road or walking to By towards Brook Street or Residents walking to their homes. In January of 2020 the weekly Rental Payment wasRaised with the explanation that it’s for the Maintenance of the properties and for the outsides of the Places For People Properties such as landscaping etc. So I am gonna have to notify my good friend who I haven’t once written to him like I do regularly concerning other Government Matters because I am a fully paid member of the Labour and Co-operative Party, Sir Mark Hendrick is a good friend of mine since I was introduced to him by my other friend and former Councillor Carl Crompton who was the Guild Mayor and I haven’t told him of my Property Troubles Regarding my Wooden Fence. Last Monday a week ago today a nice young chap knocked on my front door and he said “hello I have managed to come a day earlier to the job” to which I replied “oh great you’ve come to start on my wooden fence” and reply’s “no Mr Nalty I am here to do your Lounge Ceiling because I am a Plasterer” so he’s made a good job of my ceiling prior to it being painted by either myself or someone else. Because I was told by the Plaster that Places for People doesn’t have any Painters. My Regards Mr Stephen Nalty 29 Harcourt Street Plungington Preston PR17ER
