TrustpilotStay away. Really. They are embarrassing.
Honestly, you are better off being homeless than renting from these incompetent fools. I wouldn't trust PFP to run a bath, let alone support you at all in their property. After years of terrible experience I decided to raise a complaint, and the person (area manager) dealing with the complaint is one of my complaints. This person is absolutely useless. In fact, in my rent breakdown, I pay this area manager a proportion of my rent for her to do absolutely nothing. No storage heaters work, I was off work with a fever due to fluctuating temperatures around my property, and after reporting this, I was just instantly dismissed. For the sake of your physical and mental wellbeing, if you would like to not be completely insane because you cannot fathom PFP's irresponsible logic, then just please avoid.

TrustpilotI have lived in Bristol under PFP for…
I have lived in Bristol under PFP for some 16 years and before they took over from Bristol Church Housing. I used to be on the Complaints panel and sat at several meetings across the region. I am a responsible tenant (Not a customer as we are referred to!!) and have never caused any concern. We had a plot of land that used to belong to a local church that has now got 6 new properties built and owned by a different housing company. We had to have fitted Electronic gates and 5 CCT TV cameras installed because of the local "Problems"!! which have been well documented and PFP have copies as do The Police AND the Local Council. A year ago after the gates were taken down and they were eventually moved (This meant we had no gates working for 6 months!) and after so many countless and fruitless complaints that have never been addressed so far nothing has being done. Since nobody is available by phone in the Bristol Office (a company Policy Change some 3/4 years ago); Nothing and I mean NOTHING gets done and we are pretty much ignored. Panel Fencing was erected to help keep unwanted visitors OUT and when this was done we told PFP they wouldn't last 5 minutes because they were a complete shambles!! They actually were up for 10 days!! This happened OVER a year ago and we still wait for them to be repaired. There are too many other things outstanding to list here BUT it was "arranged" for the Maintenance Manager Mr Hood and by our "Housing Officer Amelia blackmore to attend on the 16th October to discuss so many problems, with a view to finally getting them ALL sorted. We still await for the arrival of this visit!! with NO communication as to why this did not take place and of course the problems remain. I believe PFP have a new CEO (a lady as far as I know) and maybe she might just read this and get back to me. YOU have my details on record. Amelia does try on our behalf BUT we know where the problems lie!! and it isn't her.

TrustpilotI recently had a conversation with the…
I recently had a conversation with the lift engineer at Bewick crt in Newcastle about his lack of pride over smashing peoples personal property as he was drilling for no other purpose than to annoy and harass as he knows I suffer with mental health as we're all the other workmen he also knows that other tenants on that floor also suffer with mental health issues. Because I confronted about his childish behavior he and his colleague decided to follow me out of the building to assault me this was witnessed by a fellow Tennant and also a support worker as I sat on the ground to make sense of it all the workmen found me and as they both walked past I heard one say there it is get him but the support worker past just in time. I also suffer with chronic emphasema and chronic copd Ive been really ill since all this hassle and I'm scared to leave my home in fear of more attacks.... This is places for people Bewick crt princess sq Newcastle we also have suspected covid 19 possibly due to workmen who travel from Leeds and other Yorkshire towns and citys which are on a lockdown and asylum seekers....

TrustpilotMy experience with PFP
Honest review here, been with them a couple of years now. First place had fishtail infestation and left old floor in one room as a "gift" . Second place had old boiler that heats water up and refused to put a fence up as we had a higher ground so wasn't safe for the kids, plus there was no privacy from the next door. And not to forget the big chunk of ground missing out of the garden plot. The on going parking issues were also a nightmare and kids contantly playing around your car.Third and current place was a transfer, took 12 weeks of delays and no, to lack of communication of what was happening. Arrived at the property to find it wasn't unfurnished as promised this time we were told it was our responsibility to take the flooring off which wasn't left in good condition. Already delayed with moving into the property and now having to take off the flooring, delaying our move further. Property smelt mouldy, with wallpaper peeling from the kitchen walls due to the damp. Guttering not to good standard and water pouring over the edge. House still smells like smoke from ex tenants. Blinds falling apart and with a awful stench. Under the stairs has no ventilation causing damp. Boiler has been going on and off so had to get that also looked at.

TrustpilotUPDATED - Shambolic Maintenance
UPDATED It has taken us over 18 months to get Places for People to attend to a leaky garage roof. And it's still not resolved. So much time wasting from Places for People, getting approval to replace a condemned roof took nearly a year alone, then more months in securing a contractor to do the work, then us being informed the works will take a month, only for the works to take 2 months. And only having recently been informed the works are complete, the roof has missing parts, damage internally, and more holes than it originally had! This is an absolute disgrace and I seriously WARN anyone from using this housing association providers as they will only disappoint and cause further distress when it comes to maintenance issues. ORIGINAL REVIEWThis company is awful when it comes to maintenance and upkeep of the properties. They sub-contract the majority of the works on the super cheap and with very poor contractors. They do very poor job of the work that they do do, it is never a proper job and majority of the time you have to continue to chase them up to get the works done to a bare minimum satisfactory level. When workmen do come out, they often take some photos and measurement, tell you they will get back in contact and then you hear nothing for a very long time. You continually have to chase them up for updates, and they often never give accurate times and dates for when the works do go ahead. And often the works get cancelled and you are not informed of this. For example one of their properties all the lights gone in the utility room, this was mid June it was reported. Someone came out, counted the lights, then left. Having chased this up i have just been informed that the works will go ahead at the end of August...it should not take 2 and a half months to fix some lights. And they will refuse that you do the lights yourself or hire in a local contractor instead of their 'approved contractor'.Just awful awful maintenance department. Be warned!

TrustpilotI'm writing on behalf of my in-laws
I'm writing on behalf of my in-laws. The service they have had since moving into there home has been diabolical. They were told to prop up a fence that had been damaged by a storm, (there in there 70's) not seen anyone for it to be fixed. They have requested several visits and even before Covid19 struck, no one has been around. I really don't understand what they are paying for. There new next neighbours have no fence as it's rotten away and last night they caught someone in there garden looking at stuff. Now having to use someone private to make there home and my in-laws secure from any more unwanted visitors. I have to say it's a total disgrace what you have done over the years for them!!

TrustpilotBeen with them 22 years do not recommend
Been with them 22 years , next to useless , over these years I’ve seen properties needing urgent attention such as updated kitchens bathrooms boilers etc... and the don’t do them until u give up and move out , they do the least work possible between tenants so if ur going to sign up what u see is Literally what you will get forever more. They also add on additional services charges that seem to go up annually but you don’t get the service from them. Work men come to do jobs stressed out in your home bring their stress to the job , usually stressed from working for them! Jobs don’t Always get done . I really would avoid them at all cost to be honest , customer services are not friendly either neither are the housing officers do your self a favour an find a better landlord. They are known for having a bad name!
