Disgusted in the level of service

I’ve paid rent to this company for coming up to 7 year in December & I’ve now been waiting 2 months now for someone to come fix my window that won’t close due to no handle on my window as it just broke, so my bedroom is freezing as it’s bloody winter, so heating bill is sky high (waste when it’s just going out the window). I had an appointment that got bumped 3 weeks before they was due out & have been on the phone every week without a fail to bring it forward & just get passed about. They rung me last week when I was at work saying someone has cancelled they can come in the next hour, sorry I’m at work I can’t & then nothing off them until I contacted them. The same repair is also to fix my windows throughout the house as the profiles have gone & it’s causing condensation which is causing mould. I have a 7 year old with asthma & each week I have to clean round his window with Astonish mould spray but apparently this isn’t an emergency cause I have it under control, like I’m going to allow the mould to build up & put my child’s health at risk. This is just disgusting if you ask me & for a company the size of them just shows it’s all about money!!!

We have had two emergency repairs which where both dealt with promptly and efficiently. Workmen were both polite and left the area they were working on tidy and clean. I have no complaints at all and we are very happy in our new home.

My housing officer Robyn was first…

My housing officer Robyn was first class and helped us through the move with care and support many thanks to a lovely young lady she is a credit to Places for People, when you get to our age it is very stressfull moving and Places for People have made sure our new property is refurbished and every thing we hoped for many thanks for the care and help we recieved.

Not a place for the people

A company that would rather tell me to move on multiple occasions rather than accept that the situation I am in is toxic and use their power to resolve a simple issue. I've been ignored for 3 years with only the very minimum being done to try get me to stop contacting. My "lifestyle" got blamed for the fact my property was covered in mould, condensation was building and a mite infestation broke out when infact the contractor who inspected my place told me that this is the issue in all their properties due to outdated radiators & boilers with poor or no ventilation system. I have said on multiple occasions how my issues are shattering my health but each time it has been ignored. Places for "People".. if they saw us as people we wouldn't be treated this way.Update 12th November 2020- I sent my address and a copy of this review to Places for People the day they replied to this review and as expected I haven't heard anything from them since, not even an acknowledgement of my email.

Many of your old properties could do with modern toilets and taps to save tenants some unnecessary cost, they are not economically friendly

All staff in administration very…

All staff in administration very helpful and professional as are regional managers. Rent section in Newcastle are a nightmare and need to communicate with admin staff to understand offers made to new tenants regarding rent.

We have been here now for 2 and a half…

We have been here now for 2 and a half years , no complaints.Recently I rang the office complementing the gardener, who did an excellent jobtidying and cutting back for the winter months.

Regan Spence Lettings

I am extremely happy with my experience with Regan as she was so friendly and helpful when my son was moving into his first place. Every worry we had she went out of her way to make us as a family feel at ease. She supported us the whole way through and continued to check in on him even after he had moved in. She was very informative and no question was too much bother as she always tried to be as helpful as she could and gave us great tips which went a long way. I have a great first impression and could not thank her enough for everything.

I'm extremely pleased with the support…

I'm extremely pleased with the support from the onsite warden Sue when I have had any queries. I feel I have given a lower score than I would due to the amount of maintenance issues that I have had to report since moving in. I feel the maintenance issues should have been resolved prior to my moving in date.The communal gardens are very well maintained.
