They helped ruin my life..... Made a bad situation worse..On top of that they didn't address issues I had in my flat .....one substandard heater to heat the flat.....damp and leaks from above frequently.....they made my life hell...

I've been a tenant for over 5 years now amd I have no complaints however I wish there were more support for existing customers, been trying to move house to down the number of bedrooms ( Not fair for other family that might be in need) and I would love to stay with places for people but at this poin it seems impossible the website don't work most of the time so you miss most of the chances as you have to apply first. Just think there should be more help for people that been with them for so long.

i am heartbroken by this they do not even deserve one star we moved in to our forever home last year then it went all pear shaped and yesterday left me trying to kill myself after what he had said he had said to me over the phone that all the asb everything i have seen is all in my head everything from the death threats right through to the drug deals the noise etc it left me wanting to kill my self i just wish i never ever spoke out about what we have seen even my other half came out with it yesterday druggies and alcoholic's get everything and normal people just get left to the wind i have put in a formal complaint about him and he said before we will never have him removed from the case and any formal complaints against him will be dismissed this has broke me into pieces i would never ever lie about something that serious he has blamed it all on my mental health even though that was under control night terrors were under control until we moved into this place this has been our worst mistake ever this has destroyed me to the point were i wish i never ever spoke out i wish i had never said anything about what was going on the block of flats even the lady in another flat is disgusted even she said the first chance she gets to moving out she will do because of the asb that has gone on and she has been in this buliding since it was built also went filled in the complaints also emailed customer focused team and they have emailed all my complaints to the person we complained about horrendous shocking behaviour would not recommend this company to rent from

Here are 2 handy email addresses greg.Reed at places for people dot co dot uk katie.hartshorn at placesforpeople dot co dot uk greg is the new ceo and katie is greg reeds personal assistant email them with your problems ive been fighting p4p since 2019 over several issues from false alligations to cyber terror attacks by email from placesforpeople managers and customer service will delay any of you enquiries or complaints i really believe that this department needs an up grade as its useless theres a saying placesforpeoples have adopted its HISTORIC/HISTORICAL EVENT/S which basically means get lost were not interested in doing any investigation into your complaints or enquiries unless they can make money from it. They promised to help me move i even had a witness from C. A. B but im still waiting still being ignored i wouldnt say every manager was incompetent but there are a few who are completely incompetent and give placesforpeople a bad reputation. No doubt customer service will say they are sorry to hear my problems... yeah im sure they are... "NOT" or will they do what they do best and just ignore me as usual.. thats why im still having to fight them. Certain departments and there managers really need investigated or sacked and others stripped of their managers role its the only housing association that every one is a manager of some sort. im really disgusted and broken at this company and hope greg reed ceo has a good clean out of management and improves and cooperates in building a good relationships with its tenants or will it just stay the same... denie responsibilities wnt except blame and stay profit over people... Only time will tell....

The place for People is the worse property management company I have ever met, they only collect high management fees but do nothing and are not contactable. They ping pong your problem and no one will solve the problem. They settle up stupid rules and then create problems and leave you helpless.

Lived in this house for 23 years im on my 6th damp course its got to be ripped out again ive now got solicitors involved as I am feedup of been messed around ive been promised temporary accommodation still not heard from them l was told that I should not have been in the house when the damp course was been done the 5 other time's had to live upstairs while chemicals were been used places for people do not care but when l signed the tenancy it was owned by North British but now it's owned by places for people this damp course that was done march 2021 failed within 3 months and I'm still waiting for the work to take place and also what treatment is going to be used as the new membrane they used did not do it's job and they promised me it would not FAIL. My walls are wet in 3 separate rooms and black mould . Buck up way you treat people as you would not like to be treat like me and other residents.

I’ve had issues with my neighbours for months and months and nothing is being done about it, keeps getting Palmed off to environmental health, they aren’t my landlords places for people are, I barley stay at my property due to upstairs and they’ve done nothing to help or help move me but still expected to pay they get straight in touch for that

Reported that the alleyway behind house which I'd been shown as a fire escape when I moved in 29 years ago was overgrown in 2017....2018 neighbour fills alley with rubbish....2019 they cleared it....2022....yep 2022 they finally cleared it properly .... DISMAL repair service....shoddy workmanship.....call centre staff lovely....the gentleman assigned to my complaint was lovely but even HE struggled with trying to get things resolved.....one bad apple spoils the barrel.....and he does repairs in my area
