Property not secure …

We first put in about side gate was down and fence leaning over that was in end december now we are in middle of July they was supposed do it on the 15th never come and did not let me know,I phoned up and was told the man has gone sick I was told now that I would have to wait until middle of September why can’t the man when he comes back to work start where he left of so having no side gate the property is still not secure I still hold no hope of it being done

Try ringing this company for a repair 😤

Friday 15th July 2022Try ringing this company. They put you on hold for 6 mins then just when you think you’re going to get through the voice comes on and tells you it’s going to be 9 mins ? Then you get through eventually and they cut you off just as you’re giving the postcode. They don’t ring you back. So you start all over again but this time the waiting time has gone up to 20 mins. Very frustrating customer service for repairs. J. Tait

Places for people are a joke

Places for people are a joke. Thay do nothing but waste peoples time and money. I can't express how disgusted and disappointing I am with these people. Make appointments and cancel with no explanation or just Dont turn up. and do nothing but thob you off and muck you about. I never known any place like it. But yet happy to keep taking people rent money. I've had nothing but hassle with repairs since moving here 2 years ago. And most of my street feel the same. But I am taking it further as I've had enough

Slum landlords

I have been a tenant with Places for People for 22 years and I can honestly say I wish I had stayed with the council. My house is literally falling apart and they refuse to do anything. I am so sick of been fobbed off with stupid excuses as to why nothing is getting done. I no longer class my house as a home it is now just a house. I feel totally let down after being a.tenant for so long. So I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Wish i could give 0 stars. They dont maintain properties. Had a leak they fixed- missed a day off work for the repair. Water has gone under the floor, they say it is my responsibility to take the floor up. I am disabled, they are aware of this. Also now have mould where leak was- I am also apparently responsible for this.

From the point of moving in to dealing with near endless queries and questions and just being a god tier problem solver, Nicola has looked after, sorted and managed a near never ending string of "ooh i've just found this, can you help?".I've never been left wondering what's happening, I've never had to chase anything up, Nicola has kept me posted every step of the way and ensured the right people are assigned the right job and always does everything possible to ensure a rapid turn around.Places for people have been an absolute pleasure to deal with from day one (also another huge shout out to Diane Rawson who was my personal saviour during the purchase and move!!! places for people do not care about there over 55 complex which i ha e been for 3 years. lovely area well kept till you put young 21 years old in with two others in a one bed flat. noisy, area gone down. why do you do this . im having to find another place to live becuase of noise etc

Oh, absolutely without doubt the 5* star reviews are fakes. It's so obvious that they are artificially raising their score to appear like a reasonable company. Trustpilot should really investigate....I don't know any tenant of Places for People that would give a good review.

The whole block where I live is…

The whole block where I live is infested with vermin, all the tenants have informed places for people. After a token email reply saying I would be contacted I wasn't, they will not listen to people that actually live here with things that could be done to alleviate this problem. On my recent experience this site should allow you to put minus stars on the review. Company said to have over £3billion in assets can't and will not address this problem so I'm left to resorting to have no food in my flat so obviously can't eat here, no sleep whilst waiting for the vermin to jump out somewhere starting to affect my mental health. But I'm still in credit with my rent. So who I wonder is upholding their part, think you will find it's me.

PFP. Drug dens for junkies

After putting me through hell after moving two drug addicts in. They finally moved them out. Now they have moved in two more drug addicts with more anti social behaviour. Places for people is a truly evil company that puts money above their tenants well-being. After the first two addicts they said they would let the property under a sensitive letting scheme. But instead they move in more anti social drug addicts. Once may have been a mistake. But twice is deliberate.

I called them to an emergency number all the sewage water went to the kitchen from the pipes they have it in the rules and I received an answer just crazy wait a month and a half. which can collapse at any moment and God forbid children will walk in the garden.

Ive been with PfP since 2000 and the Social Housing has declined and now terrible - they know this and yet continue to behave as if all was ok., Anti Social Behaviour - Violent neighbours - and sub standard repairs - boiler broke and takes ages to repair - outstanding repair issues from over 20 years ago., terrible ., used to be top notch now sub standard - bullies in management - money targeted instead of social housing targeted - they will start you off in your tenancy great but then walk away ., housing officers have minimal powers ., awful ., might aswell go private if you canOH not fully supportive of LGBTQ community and vulnerable people., please avoid if you can( PfP please dont copy and paste a reply ., it will be politely ignored ) you had a great reputation but now sullen and soiled
