Mould/damp issue

We have a mould/damp issue which unbeknown to me when I accepted the property has been going on for years. Complaint after complaint over the years and we still have the issue. Surveyor comes out without damp meter ir proper tools to check cavity wall insulation. In all the 40 odd years I have been a housing association tenant with different housing association either due to moving or their so called mergers, places for people are by far the worse, and instead of maintaining the properties they already have, 330, 000 properties Don't bother places for people leaving your feedback to get in touch,absolute waste of time and staff member I spoke to about mould was downright rude

Would give -100 if I could.They have changed the door entry to the block of flats and not given me a key fob to gain entry to my own flat.Have tried for 2 weeks to get hold of placements manager Sat Dhadli and no one can ever get hold of him. No one has a clue how to get a fob.Shocking experience.

Mismanage Estate, overpriced repairs

How have these bandits got a star of 2.2, it has to be a zero from everyone? Mismanaged our estate for 20 years, All their jobs cost 3-4 times local tradesman, then when we are on the verge of taking them to the ombudsman, they pass us off to a subsidiary RMG, who want to charge us £13,000 to QUOTE for repairs. Awful, just awful. If you are a customer find a way not to be.

horrendous iv been battling with this company for 7 months regarding a fence that fell down with rot . Kept telling me they was coming out letting me down , raised to stage one complaint by an housing officer chris smith . which was investigated Abd then promised ensured that the work would be done on the 14 th of Nov st which a man turned up aft 2 phone calls with no materials and on is own o was told AM 2 men one day They came back at 2 pm put in 2 fence post and 2 planks and not been seen since . your lucky i give one star my health with these people is full of anxiety you just don’t get any where

Absolutely shocking. You've managed to take scaffolding down after 2 months time and VERY LITTLE work done. To be honest it's worst than it's been before they started and changed glass and handles in windows. Bet you any money that for price of scaffolding bill ( it was from outside company called BeeJay ) we could have new set of windows and doors installed. We have complained many times. Formal as well and nothing got done. So I'm not into your useless answers from costumer service. I wish photos or videos could be added to review just to shocking standard of work done. We are sick of being ignored. 🤮🤮🤮

Fed up making reports about things what need doin in the house im in 6 months counting for someone to sort mould out in my houseAnd then a no show last week to sort the boiler out what keeps turning my radiators on! Disgraceful

We live in a building with 14 apartments and every apartment is occupied by elderly, very elderly IE 90 years of age and severely disabled people. For the last four days we have had no lift. Residents are now running out of food. Rubbish is being stored in the flats causing a health hazard. Ive complained to my councillor SNP but no reply. We have been told the repair is out for tender. This is a disgraceful how they treat senior citizens.

What a landlord they are. You all should be ashamed of yourself. Not suppose you get so many complaints when you run you business that way. You are all bunch af armatures starring from costumer service ending on repair team. I've been try to get in touch many times and just been ignored or put on hold, even on of your maintenance people said he pass the message to management but nothing happened. If any other company be run like that they be straight out of businesses but them lot seems to don't bother about people safety/welfare. You all got my number and email you in costumer service

I have been offered a property in Nottingham, the initial contact from Emma was an easy process, sending in my documents, contacting me to send all documentation requested were passed and officially offered the property was a quick and painless process. Then being contacted by Regan to update me on the works being carried out and completion date, it's been a smooth process so far, should be getting the keys in a few weeks. Once they sign you up they don't care not helpful

Once they sign you up they don't care . I have to pay rent for a property I carnt move into.as there is no gas as they have had it cut off and I have no idea how to get it re connected we have asked the people who we let it off and they just ignore our emails. They won't put the gas back on when I finally contacted them . They want her to phone them my partner is deaf what a waste of time . So no gas because you already have ro know who your supplier is and be paying them for a service you don't have then they may turn up cos they don't work weekends. But they won't re connected it even if you already have an account with the power company

Places for People is the worst housing association I have ever dealt with. They are completely incompetent and have no regard for their tenants.I have been living in a Places for People property for over a year now, and in that time I have had to complain about numerous issues, including:Leaks in the roof and wallsBroken windows and doorsMould and mildew growthInfestations of pestsEach time I have complained, Places for People have been slow to respond and have often failed to fix the problems. This company is institutionally racist towards people of colour, non English. They are also prejudice towards the elderly, disabled and LGBT communities. Their treatment of disabled, elderly and LGBT Individuals is criminal. In fact the only people that they do support is drug users and drug dealers. They also have no compunction in breaking laws on a daily basis. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this company. I have been a tenant of theirs for 7 years and I have seen and experienced harassment from them. Seen it done to many tenants. The good reviews on here are all lies and fake reviews. 3rd worst housing landlord

Placesforpeople housing association are far the worst landlord . Pfp were voted 3rd worst housing landlord I have progressive lung disease yet they capped my gas in july 22 to date to prove a point to me i nearly lost my life at xmas 22 and in april 23 due to the cold in the flat no heating no hot water . they need investigated for fraud they charged my father £25 a month for 5.5 years to cut his grass out side his front door yet he has no garden they charge £25 a year yet only cut the grass every 4 months out of 12 months They will lie threaten and leave you for dead . We have a tenants centre which is always closed yet tenants pay towards heating/water/electricity on top of the normal property charges so tenants are paying 2 energy bills and up keep yet the only ones permitted to use without being charged are there managers contractors and work force.

Please don't rent from places for people at all. It's not worth it promise you. They will bully you and make up debts for you to pay if anything ever goes wrong they will blame you and get you to pay. They are absolutely shocking. They call service and maintenance persons are complete waste of time. Having scaffolding on my property for over a month and almost no work been done. Try to reach someone over the phone nobody know what's going on. Absolute amateurs. Stay away if you can gen home elsewhere they been completely useless from day one. I'm not even bother about automated costumer service response.makes me sick
