There is so little communication within the Places 4 People offices, with their third party tradespeople, and in turn between the office and the tenants that it creates so much confusion and chaos. I cannot count the amount of times workmen are supposed to come to my place to do something, I take time off and they don’t show. Or like yesterday I was emailed weeks ago to say a plumber was coming to my place for a routine visit, I take time off work and a CARPENTER showed up who had to paint a quarter of a metre patch in the hallway. I didn’t need to be home ! I have countless examples of nobody showing up for appts, or the completely wrong tradesperson for the job, Matthew (housing manager) came to look at my windows some weeks ago which are rotten.. He promised me verbally all our windows in the whole building would be replaced by Xmas. Obviously nothing in writing and obviously it’s not happening. So frustrating. I’m upset and very disappointed in the way us tenants are treated considering we pay rent

I am not one for moaning. I sent an extensive list of small outstanding communal repairs, only half of them have been covered. I don't have the time or patience to chase these up, but I will now I have some time available to do so.

As a long term tenant over 30years, things have changed so much. I find repairs are not done as quickly as they should and that certain items you have to repair yourself. I have had dampness in a wall now for over a year, waiting again for a surveyor to come out, winter is coming. I do love my little house.

Great service after a few years of a very poor service. It's as if PFP have just woken up and started to smell the coffee. I'm telling you PFP is back with a big message "We are here to serve our tenants". By the way thank you for my lovely new kitchen - (still waiting for my new bathroom though, come on guys! you can do it!!!)

The workman arrived unannounced at 8.15am. I had no text or e mail to say he was coming. He then had to pop out for some glue to do the repair. Said he'd be half an hour. He was an hour and half. The job took 5 mins to sort.

Places for people are a fantastic housing association however the only downside is that they don't upgrade their properties much. If you need a repair though they are pretty quick to respond and very friendly 😊

From the ladies on the phone, I believe one was Nicola and the other Jacqueline.To the builder who came called Noel, I can not fault PFP.They try their very best to give an appointment and although it was at first had to be rescheduled, it was well worth the wait.Patient considerate and kind is how I found the ladies on the phone.The builder Noel was polite and totally a professional.Very blessed to be a tenant at my late stage in life with PFP.

The space in the flats are too small, especially my kitchen and bedroom. Only the bathroom is to my suite. As it is now, am running out of space, need more space for my clothes. I am still unhappy about the emergency escape ramp that is not install. Another thing, I am still trying to find out at what stages or time does one becomes a long-term tennant?
