Place for people are not interested in…

Place for people are not interested in their tenants, once they get the rent , that’s all they are interested in. We constantly ring up with repair request that are ignored, fencing is rotting never been touched since houses built , area is becoming dumping site ,despite many complaints. Landscaping is now just grass cutting , leaving grass cutting everywhere kerbs covered in weed and grass. Drains covered in grass , no visit or contact from area managers. I spent lots money improving my house , that’s work places for people should be doing. . The area is now fill up with druggies and woman selling sex in houses let by places for people.

The flat places for people forgot!!!

I don’t when you are talking about but I am talking about when the Housing Officer came to see me about my dog’s barking! He push his way in to my house even after I told him 3 times I didn’t want him there! He came in the house after being told I didn’t want him, I was in my nightclothes and I had a chest infection.Then he went on spouting rubbish about dogs! I told him that I needed to move as I feel intimidated and watched all the time and he some remake about nutters!Then he said that he was going on Holiday and would come and see me as soon as he was back, he also asked me to get a Doctors letter which I still have!There is lots and lots more things I could say about flat! Like both the kitchen and bathroom need replacing as they are All full

Substandard repairs

The latest repair of fitting a cupboard door in the hallway, after a long wait for the appointment & emails to Customer Service Manager, was not fitted to an acceptable standard... in fact... wouldn't close. I complained & now have an appointment for January 2025 for it to be remeasured. I have given a 4 star as I can see Places for People are putting a lot of work in to improve their standards of repair work & the extra star I have given is because of Leann Hibbert , Customer Service Manager, who has been extremely helpful & professional especially with the kitchen refit previous.

3 jobs completed in matter of few…

3 jobs completed in matter of few days.we are late 70s and vulnerable.my wife called and explained situation.1 Damp appeared on main Bedroom ceiling,2 radiator valve in small.bedroom needed sorting.3 Kitchen fluorescent light not working.Within matter of few days All.these Jobs were rectified.Thanks to repair office. And their tradesmen carrying out work.plus cleaning up after them. Getting through on the phone is…

Getting through on the phone is terrible.When I rang I got 1 minute waiting time so I did.Hanging on 10 minutes then recording came on 4 minutes waiting time.Horrible loud music for another 5 minutes then it said 6 minutes.Needless to say I put the phone down..It used to say :Press no 1 for a call back.Not anymore !!!!!

I have to highly commend Elijah who did…

I have to highly commend Elijah who did a fantastic job and went way beyond with his aim to finish the repair with a good outcome. Polite, professional and did research into how he could help us get hot water and heating back on with his determination and conscientious attitude. A credit to your company. As was his colleague who came over with a part needed.

Repairs are either ignored or not done properly. If you send a online enquiry those are ignored also. Poor customer service and repairs always hard work.

You gave me a lot of support moving…

You gave me a lot of support moving from my old place to my home now. When I was struggling recently with finances following a disastrous holiday that cost more than it should of, you gave me a voucher to spend at my local Aldi. You gave me a replacement door when the police had to break in following concerns for my wellbeing and finally when ever I've had concerns about any matters regarding my tenancy and fixtures you always deal with them promptly. Well done PfP for keeping me a happy tenant.

Easy to get through to operator who…

Easy to get through to operator who dealt with problem efficiently. Repair made same day and new door requested, which hopefully will arrive soon.

Helpful maintenance men

I have always had good experiences with the workmen, always polite and helpful.Have lot of bother with water/heating but usually get quick and positive results.Unfortunately any problems within the communal building don't get much help from office staff.

Our experience with Places for People has been disappointing, with poor build quality and subpar aftercare. The finish and management of the site have been lacking, and despite ongoing issues, they are now handing over an unfinished site.
