GoogleMy experience with Oakwood Estates has been disappointing, contrary to the many positive Google reviews, which I suspect are written by their marketing team. The estate manager, Charlie Aldridge, acted very unprofessionally during our departure after a one-year stay. They are attempting to withhold our deposit by providing unreasonable repair quotations. It is expected that there will be some wear and tear after a year of occupancy, but Charlie Aldridge seems unable to understand this basic principle. She appears to be trying to retain the entire deposit for questionable reasons.

Please note that subject to Google guidelines you appear to have left two separate live reviews on our account which is deemed to be a violation. We understand your frustration regarding the deposit deductions. Our policy is to return deposits in full, minus any deductions for legitimate repairs beyond normal wear and tear. We would like to investigate this matter further. GoogleWe have been so impressed with the service we have received from the Oakwood team. From initial offer to exchange, Oakwood have been exceptional communicators. During our purchase we had the pleasure of liaising with Kirsty, Abbi and, more recently, Clare. I cannot express how much Oakwood were the stand-out estate agency in our chain. Clare was so driven to ensure the entire chain made it to exchange and took on what I am sure was way above her usual roles and responsibilities. We hope our purchase is our forever home, but we know that if we ever needed to sell then we will be getting in touch with Oakwood first! GoogleI wouldn't recommend this estate agent. We liked a house we wanted to put an offer for, Kate Lawry said she needs us to speak to her own mortage broker to see if we can afford it. Explained to her I have already spoken to my own mortage broker and got the mortage in principle in place. I had already sent this to her as proof I felt pressured into using their own mortage broker otherwise they would recommend another buyer over me. Also once my offer was accepted they were still taking on other offers. I eventually lost the house. They tried to do this with another client. Their offer was accepted, and they called me to see if I was still looking and If I wanted to put a higher offer. Do not use this agent, Kate Lawry is unprofessional and rude. No respect for the buyer really. Hira was friendly and helpful Use move in estates, i’ve had great experiences from them

GoogleShannon Corrigan and Charlie Aldridge are the worst human beings I’ve came across!!!!! Don’t get caught to these two, specially Shannon, absolute garbage!!! Never experienced such horrible situation with an agency before. Never ever would recommend this useless organization called Oakwood and their horrible employees. Worst of the worst!!!!! They are a bunch of thieves, don’t ever rent with these people…….
