GoogleWe have used Oakwood Estates twice in two years. Their service is wonderful. Elaine looked after us on both occasions. In our recent sale, a lot of viewings were arranged very quickly and we were guided on who would be the best buyer. For some unknown reason, our solicitors did not want to keep us in the loop, and without Elaine, the whole process would have been very stressful, especially when there was a delay with the transfer of funds. It turned out there were a number of challenges along the way but the whole team, with Elaine leading the way along with Charmaine and Martha, did a fantastic job in steering us through the various hurdles. Clear, knowledgeable, practical and regular updates from the very start to final sale completion meant that we were fully informed at all times and able to make informed decisions on the way forward as and when necessary. We cannot thank Elaine and the whole team enough for the professional and friendly approach, and all the hard work, time and effort that went into the sale and are thoroughly delighted to now be in our bungalow out in the country. GoogleMixed feelings regarding Oakwood.
We bought from them a couple of years ago and as buyers were very impressed, this time though we had 4 valuations from 4 different estate agents and because of our positive experiences with Oakwood decided to go on the market with them. (Despite them being joint lowest on the valuations)
As sellers we were most disappointed, Elaine made the same strong good impression when it came to getting it on the market. She came around promptly and it was up quickly.
After this though it slipped quickly, it felt like little to no effort was being made to sell our property. The market was/ is difficult but that seemed a convenient excuse. We wouldn’t be communicated feedback regarding viewings, I had to chase several times about several viewings.
6 viewings in 2 months feels like more could have been done. I wouldn’t rule them out in future, but equally wouldn’t rush back as I did this time
