GoogleHad great service from Nicol & Co right from the beginning Dominique was very informative and we were pleased with the valuation and guidance given regarding the sale and then once sold and part of a chain Leanne was amazing in getting the chain to exchange today, I’m convinced we wouldn’t have got to this point without her, she always kept us updated with any progress and was quick to help resolve any problems. Thank you

GooglePurchased a house in Malvern from a developer who was selling them through Nicol & Co. Initially they were ok but we had a problem with communication with the developer and the owner Matt Nichol said he would deal on our behalf. What followed was 3 months of shocking customer service, constant chasing and basically being fobbed off by Mr Nicol. When I informed Mr Nichol that I did not like being treated in this manner he disappeared never to be heard from again. The sale proceeded through o completion - largely in part to us doing all the chasing and leg work - something you would expect an estate agent to do! If you look through their previous reviews this company is fine when things are running smoothly - as soon as a problem is flagged up they go into melt-down. If the boss don't care how do you expect his staff to... Personally I think there are far better, more professional estate agents in Worcester! 18th June - Just seen the response from Matt Nicol, sorry Matt but as the saying goes never trust an estate agent... Anyone thinking of purchasing though this company please contact me directly if you require any further information but from my experience (and yes Matt I used to live in Worcester and have bought from other estate agents) I would use another estate agent - especially for renting as their reviews online are frankly appalling.

Dear Antony, this is Matt Nicol replying to your comments made on here and social media. I think it is important given the nature of your post to clarify some of the points as quite rightly our potential clients will be interested to know both sides. I hope you are settled in to your property. As you have said it was requested that I stepped in when you felt you could not liaise with my client, something I was very happy to do to appease the situation. It later became clear why communication had broken down and I then began to experience the same. Firstly, the request to move a wall mounted boiler that had already been installed and used to heat the house to me seemed ambitious. I carried out the request and asked my client [developer] who explained that it could not be done, not only because it was already serving its purpose but also as the piping above had been concealed in the cupboard space in the room above. You weren't happy and made your feeling clear but it was not something that could be changed despite the numerous requests. Later, the number of emails sent CC'ing all parties were responded to in a quick fashion but it became clear that the issues in the chain related to your own sale and not the property you were purchasing from ourselves. I always responded to any email that involved me if there was a question but I believe this time was spent by you on your own chain. We always kept our vendor informed of the circumstances relating to dates and mortgage offers and have had no problems mentioned by them. We always responded to any queries in a swift fashion and whilst I would not communicate directly with you, I sit with and work very closely with my colleagues that responded. I do not know how you substantiate the claim that other agents in Worcester are better as unless you were buying more than one property how would you know?

GoogleCouldn't fault the service from everyone at Nicol & Co. They were extremely helpful at every stage of our purchase. In particular Leanne, Jo and Tom went over and above helping us on numerous occasions. Leanne with keeping us up to date at every step, herself and Jo at answering our every query, and Tom for helping us with our several viewings. Thanks everyone!

GoogleOur purchase wasn’t the easiest to say the least, but Leanne Fletcher made it feel like it was the smoothest ever. Leanne made a conscious effort to communicate with us as frequent as we needed and always was the first to let us know of any updates. Now we’re are in our new home and the whole family love it! At a time where selling is stressful, in the first week Jo Black was acceptional in communication and made me feel that I was the priority. Through the sale process, Leanne Fletcher emailed me the progress of the legal activity daily which led to an extremely positive experience. Leanne was giving me weekly updates on the purchase and was always quick to answer any questions by email too. She is very professional and worked hard to negotiate every detail with the solicitors and the rest of the chain. GoogleWe first met Dominique on Good Friday and we sold and bought a day and a half later, on Easter Sunday. What other estate agents are available to take calls on a bank holiday? none that I am aware of and this is why we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicol & Co. Leanne then took over and made the process as easy as possible. It was a little difficult towards the end which was out of their control but Leanne was always in contact with us throughout the whole process. Towards the end she pulled out all of the stops and made the chains preferred completion date a reality. It was great work from the whole team at Nicol & Co. If you’re thinking of using them, to sell your house, or to buy a house through them, you will not be disappointed.

FacebookMy partner and I have had the worst experience with these Charlatans. They are dishonest, never reply back in time, do not do what they say. They are shoddy and a bloody joke! They forgot to mention before we moved in we couldn’t hang our washing out and we ended up being harassed and abused by other tenants for doing this. We asked for a Meter reading ASAP and still haven’t had one. And the list could go on. My family rent out two houses and if their agents were half as bad as these guys they’d have fired them already! The whole team who dealt with our rental at Powick Mills were useless! The lady who showed us around the house was fab and it stopped there! We Had to wait months for reply’s back and had to chase it up. Lights and fixtures were never changed as promised in the space of 7 Months! This is not even to mention that we were promised a week before we moved in the whole place would be completely cleaned and painted which it wasn’t so we had to ask and fight for that to be done which I believe was completed a day before. We heard such good things about Nicol and co but we have been totally let down. We had a customer care call, to which we told them all of this and nothing ever happened and no one ever came back to us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS EVEN OUR LANDLORD IS SELLING WITH ANOTHER AGENCY!
