GoogleViewed a property twice (hard enough to book the viewings in). Put an offer in and NEVER heard back from the agent despite follow up calls and emails. Found somewhere else the following week and had an offer accepted so went with that. It’s the vendors I feel sorry for. Avoid this branch

TrustpilotRenting without SMOKE ALARM Woolston Southampton
My daughter is renting a property and two months in they still don't have a fitted smoke alarm something the agent saw on day one. This is a legal requirement and something you would expect a professional letting company to treat as urgent matter for the landlord to remedy immediately. Morris Dibben look after the interests of the landlord and not the tenant. The boiler was making a loud noise from the outset and still to date no one has been around to fix it, despite reporting it to both maintenance contacts and the Morris Dibben office numerous times. Tonight it has started flooding downstairs flat and none of the supposed emergency contacts are picking up.. Grass in garden was not mowed before with the excuse it's new turf even though they expect the tenants to strim it. Plenty of other issues including ridiculous intrusive checks for guarantors when the names on the agreement more than satisfy rent criteria.

Very unprofessional with communication, one staff member Daisy B. was very rude on the phone, didn’t care, was abrupt and dismissive. Throughout the whole process she didn’t even care and I sensed some form of discrimination and unfair process. They can do better but it seems like from other reviews this is an ongoing and well established pattern of behaviour with this particular agency. I would avoid at all cost!

GoogleTerrible communication… they have let me down twice with a viewing. Didn’t contact me when they said they would and I had to chase them. Then arranged a viewing which they didn’t confirm with the owner but neglected to tell me that the viewing wouldn’t be happening. Not at all impressed with them

We put our property up for sale through Morris Dibben in Bitterne and we were impressed from the start with their presentation regarding the sale process and marketing strategy, including advice on pricing. Throughout the sale, feedback was received on interest in the property and viewings were carried out in a professional manner. In summary, all of the team in the office were helpful, efficient and professional and both my partner and myself would like to thank all of the team for the help that they gave us, it was really appreciated and, if any of our network is selling/buying property in this area, we would definitely recommend Morris Dibben in Bitterne.
