We honestly couldn’t recommend Simon and Jack at Morris Dibben highly enough.As first-time buyers, the whole process felt quite daunting at times, but Simon and Jack were fantastic from start to finish. They were always there to answer our questions, give us advice and guide us through each step, particularly when it came to dealing with solicitors and understanding the conveyancing process.Even though their main responsibility is to their sellers, we always felt just as important and supported as buyers. They continually chased things up, kept us updated and did everything they could to keep things moving.They genuinely went above and beyond for us and were a huge help throughout what could have been a very stressful process. Unprofessional,GDPR Breach

Unprofessional, I'll start with the positive, Adam is a credit to the business and can't do more for his customers. However the business the is a shambles, complete GDPR breach sending my other customers sales of memorandums, including all their details, not only that but during viewings our home was damaged. When raising the issue to the complaints team they are completely uninterested and claim that they "can't take the damage as part of the complaint because I wasn't there" that's the complaint officer referring to himself. Needless to say one of the solicitors that they recommended to us actually been shut down due to lack of processes and control over data. AVOID AT ALL COST... Started well then all went downhill Soon to hear from the Ombudsman and my solicitors.

We sold our house through Morris Dibben this summer. The whole team (Georgia, Simon, Jack and Callum) were very helpful and very efficiently got the property on the market with providing us with realistic expectations about price and timescales and regular feedback following viewings. They were generally very contactable throughout the entire process and even helped us out after completion when deliveries were wrongly sent to our old address. We would definitely use them again in the future!

Terrible experience from Josh at the…

Terrible experience from Josh at the Woolston branch. Very keen to be my best friend to get me to book viewings but making an offer was very different. I made an offer and increased twice. I didn't hear from him for a week despite numerous calls and emails. He then called out of the blue to say my offer was accepted. 3 hours later and after I had started setting up my solicitor and mortgage he called back to say it wasn't his fault and he didn't want to start a bidding war but that's exactly what he did. He called the others to tell them they weren't successful but then accepted a higher offer from them. Typical estate agent, plenty of lies but no morals and very immature.

If you want a quick house sale or an estate agent capable of phoning you back, then this estate agent is not for you! We knew we were in for a bumpy ride when we called in the morning to put an offer on the house and were tolled to wait as everyone was in a meeting and we would get a call back. 5 hours later, still no call back, a pattern that we were forced to become accustomed to. Eventually we were able to put an offer on the house to complete the chain in January and after SEVEN long months of pushing on our end, we collected the keys and got into our house just after 5 pm. Avoid at all costs.

Unreliable sales

I had an agent to value my property to sell and find me an alternative property to purchase. The agent sent me his evaluation and also said he would be in touch to discuss my decision after I study the evaluation. He did not call me for a few weeks and then, I decided to call him. I explained that I had decided to sell and gave him my referred the area and type of property that I wanted to purchase. He said, he would call me back in a few hours as he was driving and not to believe in what people say about the unreliability of the sales agents. Well, I didn’t have to hear it from people as I experienced the unreliability of the agent myself. That was about two months ago. Never heard from him, and my principal would not allow me to call or walk to the office, which was located a few hundred yards from me. My intention was to sell and buy two other properties. Perhaps the company has a good reputation, but sales agents as such would definitely create a shadow on the reliability of the company. I don’t blame the company entirely, but it would certainly lead me to believe that there is a lack of internal quality control and auditing system in place. In these cases, customers don’t lose but the companies’ do.

Throughout the whole process she didn’t even care and I sensed some form of discrimination and unfair process. They can do better but it seems like from other reviews this is an ongoing and well established pattern of behaviour with this particular agency. I would avoid at all cost!

Poor marketing and sales management

OThis company was selling a property owned by a loved one. For the first month it was on Rightmove, it could only be found in searches for the road name or major city. The result was most potential buyers didn't see it when looking at comparible properties. The sellers only began to get viewers after the seller rewrote the sales pitch. When they finally got an offer, at tens of thousands below the initial sale price recommended by Morris Dibben, the company enabled and participated in the buyers bullying of the seller in a bid to further reduce the price. We are seriously considering legal action for the mental harm the stress has caused
