The main person we were dealing with was Jamie and he went above and beyond to aid us with a smooth move. We had a lot of questions being our first time going through this process and Jamie could not have been better. We really appreciate the work effort he has and desire to help where possible and to reassure us if things were held up on the solicitor end. We also used their mortgage broker, Richard, who managed to advise us perfectly before rates increased so we locked in for a rate that even now isn’t available. Terrible experience from Josh at the Woolston branch. Very keen to be my best friend to get me to book viewings but making an offer was very different. I made an offer and increased twice. I didn't hear from him for a week despite numerous calls and emails. He then called out of the blue to say my offer was accepted. 3 hours later and after I had started setting up my solicitor and mortgage he called back to say it wasn't his fault and he didn't want to start a bidding war but that's exactly what he did. He called the others to tell them they weren't successful but then accepted a higher offer from them. Typical estate agent, plenty of lies but no morals and very immature.

I had an agent to value my property to sell and find me an alternative property to purchase. The agent sent me his evaluation and also said he would be in touch to discuss my decision after I study the evaluation. He did not call me for a few weeks and then, I decided to call him. I explained that I had decided to sell and gave him my referred the area and type of property that I wanted to purchase. He said, he would call me back in a few hours as he was driving and not to believe in what people say about the unreliability of the sales agents. Well, I didn’t have to hear it from people as I experienced the unreliability of the agent myself. That was about two months ago. Never heard from him, and my principal would not allow me to call or walk to the office, which was located a few hundred yards from me. My intention was to sell and buy two other properties. Perhaps the company has a good reputation, but sales agents as such would definitely create a shadow on the reliability of the company. I don’t blame the company entirely, but it would certainly lead me to believe that there is a lack of internal quality control and auditing system in place. In these cases, customers don’t lose but the companies’ do.
