First, the good: They got many viewings booked and valued the property at the right pirce.Sadly, the buyer presented themselves as a cash buyer, this wasn't the case. I felt this should have been checked more carefully. This was supposed to be a quick sale, and I felt that this wasn't managed very well. There were also errors on the memo of sale which took two attempts to correct, which was a bit unnerving. Back to the good - once the branch manager took over, the service was excellent. He worked so hard and kept me totally informed. Sam is a total star! He went above and beyond to get the sale completed.

Hi Jenny, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear that you had some concerns over the management of some problems that arose during your sale. We do have company policy to check all buyers cash funds, and we ask all buyers to prove they can fund the purchase with cash if they suggest to us that they intend to do this. To do this we check a bank statement or speak with their solicitors to ensure they are able to proceed on the basis of buying cash. Unfortunately it is the buyer's legal right and prerogative to change how they wish to purchase right up to exchange and we have no way of preventing this. We very much appreciate how frustrating and stressful the whole process can be and any added complications such as change of funding can only serve to further complicate the matter. I am pleased to hear that you felt that Sam supported you and communicated well to ensure the sale kept on track. We wish you all the very best for the future.
