Beyond useless! Poor communication throughout the lettings process and just abysmal at finding suitable and reliable tenants. The main priority would appear to get anyone in, regardless how their references stack up, and get you on their books and start charging you a handling fee. I've now last eight months rent (and counting) due to their ineptitude in sourcing tenants who can actually pay. On top of this, they're an absolute nightmare to deal with and I've been pushed around from pillar to post on just about everything. The only time they are quick off the mark is when they can bill you for something and presumably take their cut. Avoid.

My wife has submitted her own review and I just wanted to add my thoughts in addition to hers. We have bought and sold properties (seven in total) and know that you can be given false figures or guidance as we have experienced it ourselves. I can honestly recommend Mishon Mackay at 111 Dyke Rd Brighton their sales manager George Wayne visited our property and gave an honest opinion of its value and their services. I had reviewed four potential estate agents and they spread from "we have someone already who would be interested" even a visit offered before agreement and constantly on the phone for our business, which you can take two ways but for me it was too much and another that took low pressure sales to far. There were only two in the end and I liked them both but opted for George`s company and very pleased we did. I would also like to mention Samim Nabizada, who kept us bang up to date with how it was progressing and others in the team who I only had little contact but came across very professionally. So if your looking at selecting the right estate agent, give them a try and you can evaluate them yourselves, we would certainly be happy to use them again.

This is such a lovely testament of how George goes about his business supported by his team at our Brighton Office. It's rare enough for people to give praise anyway these days but for someone to add to what his wife has already said on a previous review is even more rare. Glenn and his team have been unwaveringly supportive during the sale of our property in Brighton with the added back drop of the COVID pandemic.. We had our ups and downs but Glenn managed to keep us calm and on track communicating throughout the transaction. We completed today and we are very thankful his input and advice. TrustpilotThe worse agency I came across ever
The worse agency I came across ever. I wouldn’t give even a star to them. We moved in the absolute dirty house with appliances been damaged (oven dirty with burned fat all over) , carpets couldn’t see the colour on them, back garden grass overgrown (5 foot high), post box damaged to extent that you couldn’t open it (they didn’t had a key anyway) and I’m not exaggerating. This agent from brandvaughan (dressed smart etc) just replied to our shock ....”well you can refuse to move in if you like” ....we didn’t had a choice as you move from one place to other in the same day. We sorted the house out ourselves, agency cleaned the carpets. Right the part when we moved out of the property is even more discussing. We nearly didn’t get our deposit back as agency decided we damaged oven, post box etc. This agent Sarah Whitmarsh kept bullying me with email s (I still have all the proof)that we trashed the place. We left the house in excellent condition but they decided keep my money because they wanted to with comments “you can take us to the court but you not going to win it” . That’s how BranVaughan work ethics rule. I did managed get most of the deposit back as I was going to take them to court and I would of prove them to be liars so whatever happens in your life don’t choose BranVaughan as your letting agency ...that’s a serious warning. Also I haven’t heard a good reviews from friends and general public as I always asked people if they have heard of this awful company.

I can highly recommend Mishon Mackay's office at Seven Dials, Brighton. George Wayne was incredibly helpful, reliable and calm in the face of what proved a very complex and stressful chain. He was always available when required and gave valuable advice throughout a fairly lengthy process. I also found Glen and the rest of team very friendly and supportive. Well done all.

We have bought our house through Amy at the Church Rd office. She has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Our purchase process has been very slow (nothing to do with Mishon Mackay, an issue down the chain) and Amy has worked tirelessly chasing up all the different parties across the chain to make sure that the sale went through.

Mishon Mackay were helpful, flexible and fast.Whenever we had issues, they were quick to pass on our concerns or assist with our queries. We always received advance notice of any changes or visits to the property. On check out, they were flexible to allow us time to vacate and clean the property.

I was really impressed with the service from the team in Hove, especially Sue. She managed the negotiations perfectly and helped me get an offer accepted on the property I really wanted in a sought after area of Hove, after spending months looking. I viewed the property a few times and nothing was too much trouble. As a buyer I had a positive experience dealing with their team and based on this, when I decide to sell I would have total confidence in the property being marketed and sold by the Mishon Mackay sales team.

Maria Vrahnaki and Jordan Mackay were particularly brilliant and helped me deal with 2 flat maintenance issues (both unrelated to the estate agent/landlord). They went above and beyond in their roles. I would thoroughly recommend using Mishon Mackay to anyone looking to rent in the Brighton area.

Maria recently handled an insurance claim on our behalf. She was exceptionally professional and diligent throughout what was a very stressful and lengthy claims process involving multiple parties and insurers. She also oversaw the necessary renovations and remedial work to a very high standard so that the property re-let on its first day back on the market. A huge thank you all round.

Jay and Natasha were simply excellent. I usually do my own letting but as I was away I needed someone to find me tenants. I was bit nervous about not being around to oversee but the service was brilliant. They dealt with everything and all went really smoothly. Natasha found me great tenants in no time. Great service from Jay, I was nervous as we were in the middle of lockdown but it was all seamless and our tenants are really happy. We used the introduction only service and it was so easy. We were sent updates on viewings and once our current tenants had viewed and made an offer, the process was all done quickly and with no problems. They moved in 4 weeks later. We will definitely use Jay and Mishon Mackay again.
