This agency is utterly useless, bordering on negligent. I have had zero heating in my rented flat for 4 years, coupled with a serious damp and mould issue. The windows are rotten to the extent there is no sealant and you can literally put your finger through the gaps in the corners. I have reported this time and time again with photos and videos and have been met with complete apathy every time. The last year working from home in this flat has been unbearable. I have had various tradespeople agree it is dangerous and hazardous to health yet never had a single visit from Brand Vaughn. Until i submitted my notice to move out last month that is. Since then I have had various emails phone calls and visits, purely to ensure they can rerent the property to the next unsuspecting sucker. The bottom line is they care about nothing but the bottom line and have zero regard for your health and safety.

GoogleSurely the whole point of being an estate agent is to sell properties. I have sent 3 emails, called 4 times to get some details and arrange a viewing but after a week still haven't heard anything back .

GoogleNew touch screen display on the windows look good, however does not exactly fill me with confidence that they are taking customers safety very seriously. I understand they would want to limit the amount of customer enquiries in the office, but to have a touch screen display outside with NO ANTI BACTERIAL HAND GEL on offer is not in the best interest of the client. They should provide anti bac next to the screen and a sign to ask customers to anti bac their hands before and after use.

GoogleThey have been absolutely incompetent since the beginning. Any repairs and maintenance needed during our tenancy had to be communicated multiple times with some matters such as a window that would not close in the middle of the winter, taking 6 months to deal with. We had to keep in contact with the landlord even though they were managing agents so we can make sure that things were communicated properly. When we had viewings in our apartment after the second lockdown the agent was not even wearing a mask even though we had made a big deal about it. Every communication was a dreadful prelonged nightmare with constant delays, miscommunications and always ending up with the cheapest solution possible only for the same problems to arise again as they it was not dealt with professionally.
Thank you for providing more information about your experience with Mishon Mackay during your 2.5 year tenancy. Looking back at the property notes I can see that all small maintenance was dealt with promptly and without any real delay, we are of course reliant on landlord approval for works but again I can’t see any delays on the landlords behalf either. The most recent maintenance (the leak) was reported over the Christmas period, this was repaired within 24hrs from reported and the contractor returned after the festive seasons for a more permanent repair. The managing agents and freeholders of the building were involved with the repairs to the window back in 2019, so the time frame and action taken was out of our hands a little. I would like to apologise that you feel you haven’t received the level of service that you would have hoped, but we hope this didn’t affect your tenancy too much. Thank you for your feedback.

I have used a couple of other management companies in the past but Mishon Mackay are the best. They have responded promptly to request from me or the tenants and dealt with issues efficiently. When I asked for several estimates they have done so and I have confidence that they will continue to take good care of my interests and my property. We have four rentalProperties in Kemptown which Mishon Mackay fully manage and have done so to an exceptionally high standard for several years now. We have complete peace of mind and have full trust in the incredible service Jordan and the team provide (Maria, Natasha, Gracie and Claire) They are so knowledgeable, friendly and professional throughout. Any issues with maintenance are dealt with immediately which offers the Tenants a brilliant service too. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful team managing our properties and can highly recommend Mishon Mackay lettings not only to Landlords but to Tenants also.
