Holly and Damien took care of our flat sale and purchase and provided an excellent service throughout. They went above and beyond and made sure everything stayed on track despite a variety of hold ups along the way. They communicated frequently making sure all parties were well informed. They were cheerful, helpful, professional, empathetic and one of them was always available. We can't recommend them enough.

Josh Pennycott was super to deal with from the beginning, until the sale was completed. My flat had several offers and interest from the first day of viewing. Kept me informed of every stage, gave me good advice, even signed forms for me during lockdown. Friendly, informative and professional. The best estate agents I've ever dealt with and am now thoroughly spoilt. Would say is the Rolls Royce of estate agents. Mainly, I had confidence in Josh and Mishon Mackay and trust, which is invaluable.Would happily recommend Mishon Mackay to anyone selling and buying.

Met with Abi for a viewing yesterday who was so helpful during the my viewing. The property itself was beautiful and unsurprisingly had lots of interest - I asked Abi about the application process and she provided some really useful insight that I was sure enough to include in my application (all completely honest things but perhaps not information I would think to include) and I was promised a call back the following day with an outcome. Sure enough I got a call the next morning, secured a flat I'm absolutely in love with and had such a great experience after lots of setbacks, chasing and unanswered calls to Estate Agents over the last couple of weeks. Thank you Abi, you are a saint!!!

We worked with Alice on purchasing our new home in Saltdean. She was super friendly when we first attended the viewing of our new home and gave us great insight on the property and area. John was also incredibly helpful if Alice was out showing properties. We really appreciated the quick response times and follow ups as some of the other stakeholders weren't as timely with their sign offs, etc.

Really pleased with the serviceAlice was our main point of contact and she was fantastic throughout the whole process. We really appreciated the speed of their response. If she was not available then her colleague John was always on hand to answer any queries that we had. We never felt in limbo.

One of the most unhelpful lettings agents with the rudest staff. Called up showing interest in a property and the staff member on the other side of the phone was rude, unhelpful and sounded like they quite frankly couldn't be bothered. Was promised a video tour to be sent through by end of day, let's say I'm not suprised it never came through. Glad I checked reviews after my bad experience and can now stay fully clear of them.

I sold a flat during the pandemic. It took much longer than anticipated, due to factors outside of Mishon Mackay, but Thomas at the Hove branch dealt with it fantastically. He spent a lot of time chasing the relevant contacts, kept us informed of progress and was professional and approachable throughout. I recommend him 100% for sales!

We used Mishon Mackay's Seven Dials office to sell our flat and the service provided was excellent. From regular updates throughout the viewing process to advice in relation to offers and maximising value. When our chain came under pressure they handled it well and prevented the sale from falling through. Both Samim and Glenn were very professional and pleasant to deal with throughout.

I had a few difficulties with some member of staff along the years (renting for over 5 years), but one person that changed this and made all the difference was Maria. Always easy to contact, wiling to help and understanding, I cannot recommend Maria highly enough. Special mention too to Jordan for arranging more convenient dates and times for her visits so I could attend too. Really appreciated both your help.

My experience with this agency is of the most appalling. I’m a tenant accommodating visits. Despite I put stickers on the door as a reminder to take off shoes and hand sanitisers for all visitors and leave the house to let them in as per government guidelines, they have behaved in the most unprofessional way. Heavy and dirty footsteps everywhere on the carpet, in addition to my most valuable possessions scattered on the floor when I got back. I had the feeling a burglar just broke in, which is very distressing. Allowing children or pets in my flat, with tenants at risk and not yet vaccinated, in spite of government guidelines. One would wish that people take pride and dignity and a minimum level of professionalism, regardless of how tedious their job is. It’s certainly not the case for this agency.
Hi MariaIt was good to chat about this yesterday. Firstly let me apologise if you feel that we have been at all unprofessional in our approach. I have spoken to the Branch Manager of the relevant office however and she tells me that they have conducted in excess of 30 viewings at the flat and not experienced any problems or negative feedback from you until recently. In fact she did tell me that prior to the most recent viewing she had actually picked several items of yours up to keep them out of harms way, including for example your MacBook. I am also told that the people viewing were in fact asked to remove, and did take off, their shoes prior to entering the flat. I have asked the team to be careful if future visits are required and I hope that you wont have cause to review us negatively again. Kind regardsSteve Neocleous

Beyond useless! Poor communication throughout the lettings process and just abysmal at finding suitable and reliable tenants. The main priority would appear to get anyone in, regardless how their references stack up, and get you on their books and start charging you a handling fee. I've now last eight months rent (and counting) due to their ineptitude in sourcing tenants who can actually pay. On top of this, they're an absolute nightmare to deal with and I've been pushed around from pillar to post on just about everything. The only time they are quick off the mark is when they can bill you for something and presumably take their cut. Avoid.

My wife has submitted her own review and I just wanted to add my thoughts in addition to hers. We have bought and sold properties (seven in total) and know that you can be given false figures or guidance as we have experienced it ourselves. I can honestly recommend Mishon Mackay at 111 Dyke Rd Brighton their sales manager George Wayne visited our property and gave an honest opinion of its value and their services. I had reviewed four potential estate agents and they spread from "we have someone already who would be interested" even a visit offered before agreement and constantly on the phone for our business, which you can take two ways but for me it was too much and another that took low pressure sales to far. There were only two in the end and I liked them both but opted for George`s company and very pleased we did. I would also like to mention Samim Nabizada, who kept us bang up to date with how it was progressing and others in the team who I only had little contact but came across very professionally. So if your looking at selecting the right estate agent, give them a try and you can evaluate them yourselves, we would certainly be happy to use them again.
This is such a lovely testament of how George goes about his business supported by his team at our Brighton Office. It's rare enough for people to give praise anyway these days but for someone to add to what his wife has already said on a previous review is even more rare.
