We had a really poor experience with M&B on the sale of our flat. At initial valuation we were “guaranteed” that some offers placed on another flat in our building to be ported over to our flat- when this didn’t happen we were informed it was a “mistake” and there weren’t any offers to port over. There was then a disagreement between our 2 estate agents (as we had dual listed) on who took the sale. We didn’t have a preference over who took it, but the M&B team called our first time buyer threatening that there would be legal action if they didn’t get the sale which almost scared him into withdrawing his offer. Once that was sorted out there were numerous delays in the process of the sale, most of which was due to poor solicitors etc but the initial aftersales was awful. We went months where the only conversation we received from the aftersales lead on our case was ‘FYI’ with forwarded emails. It got to the point we had to ask for the manager of aftersales to take on our case so we received some actual politeness and proactive behaviour. The two stars are for Emma Atkin alone, had she have not taken on our sale when we asked her too I doubt it would have completed, but 8 months later she got us there. Despite Emma being great, we would not list or preferably even buy through M&B again.

Not only did Charlie sell my flat within the first week of listings, but I was given lots of information about potential buyers to help inform my decisions and could henceforth select the best purchaser who would love my flat as much as I did. Rosie Turley managed the post sales side of our sale of the property. The estate agents sold the property very quickly at over the asking price. Unfortunately there were all sorts of complications, none of which were the estate agents fault, including with a tennant in the property. Rosie always kept us informed and kept regular contact with the solicitors on both sides. She always tried to move things forward when it was possible. She was always friendly and efficient and we are grateful for the service she provided.

The sale was not straight forward, and without Cassandra being as proactive as she was I think I may have gone mad. Moving is stressful! Moving as you are getting on in years is many times more stressful but our experience of using Minors and Brady has certainly helped comfort us through the process. We chose Minors, not because they gave us the highest valuation (because they didn't) but because our initial contact gave us confidence. In addition, the property that we were buying was for sale with them and we thought that it would help smooth the process. Our contact with the pre-sales people was of a friendly, high and professional quality with particular mention of Kyle, but it was in post sales that they really shone. Nagilla was our point of contact and throughout the transaction, she has kept us up to date and fully informed of the process and how it was progressing, often making up for the void that seemed to emanate from our solicitors. Contact has been when necessary and not just for the sake of it. In the early part of the process, we looked forward to our Friday afternoon catch up. As the transaction progressed, calls and e-mails were as and when needed to answer questions, and ensure all answers were given and received in a timely fashion from both a seller and buyer perspective. From the outset we were impressed with…

From the outset we were impressed with the forward thinking approach to selling our home. Once a sale was agreed, we were kept informed by Abi Mackintosh of all progress and there was a smooth transition to the after care team. the sale is currently going through and hopefully we will be in by Christmas! Our only criticism was the pressure by one sales negotiator to reduce the price of our property. We had already reduced by £25k and after only a week of the reduced price, were advised to drop again from £500k to £475k. We were not in a hurry to sell and had made this clear from the outset. I am pleased to say that we managed to achieve £515k! I found the regular phone calls regarding us reducing a little off putting but glad we stood our ground and did not drop any further. We were firm with the sale negotiator and this worked. Overall a really good service so far
