Unfortunately cannot say I recommend this company. Their approach was rather lazy and slow especially when it came to arranging repairs for the rental property. We had to chase a lot and it took 3 months for them to arrange for the flushing to be fixed. Not to mention that we were told it was ok for us to get a dog upon viewing, before we signed the contract and then told us it is not a pet friendly property (This was later on allowed only with a rent increase).At the start of our tenancy we have reported the state of the oven which was terrible and were informed it won't be cleaned, however we will be expected to return it up to the standard it was left in. Then they attempted to charge me for oven cleaning. Cannot recall a single time when I did not have to chase them and staff sound as if you're annoying them whenever you speak to them apart from Samuel who seemed nice.

18.01.2022- They are a scam company. Read my experience with them.- They sold me a property with tenants in situ.- They did not reveal the fact most of tenants are defaulters and trouble makers. Some of them are served with eviction notice.- They allegedly had an arrangement with the previous landlord to hide all these facts.- Their broker (from Michael Financials) took 3 months to get the mortgage offer. Applied 4th Aug and offer cam on 11th November.- They started pushing me for the exchange the moment their broker got the mortgage offer.- Once the exchange happened, the sale negotiator who has is impatient like a child till now stopped replying to my emails.- They have a poor code of practice when it comes to selling the property.- I have raised a formal complaint with them and will keep updating here on the review page.- The made me learn that ideally you should not be taking the mortgage if the broker is part of agency company. This way you will be pushed hard on your purchase.- They are trying to be polite in the reply to this feedback which is just their hypocrisy.If you are planning to buy any property through Michael property Consultants think twice, thrice or rather....!

Dear Mr Singh,We wouldn't normally reply publicly defending ourselves but due to your strong public accusations we simply must.First, I must dismiss all of your accusations with regards to acting underhand and having any arrangements with the previous seller - this is entirely a false accusation. The sale of your new property had been running since July 2021, so to advise that our team were impatient is a very unfair statement, especially when the seller was close to withdrawal due to the length of time the transaction had been running and you had three departments from our agency assist you with your purchase throughout. They were on hand to assist every step of the way and communication was kept to the highest of standards.Not at any stage were we informed of difficulties with any tenants, or ever concerned about them being credible or genuine. We provided you with a description of all tenants, including their professions in July, close to when the sale was first agreed. We never denied you access to visit the property and it is also very important to highlight that you have visited and inspected the property throughout your purchase process and we have never been obstructive or prevented you visiting. I understand you have also raised formal complaints against your solicitor, independent solicitor on behalf of your lender and therefore are trying to hold all parties involved accountable. All parties have stated that at no stage have we ever withheld any information or acted unprofessionally. We have put you in contact with our Customer Relations Manager who has acknowledged your complaint and who will be assisting you with your complaint moving forward, ensuring the appropriate complaints procedure is followed. Naturally we are very disappointed to have received this review and will be working closely with all involved to ensure this is resolved properly.

GoogleOver the last 2 years I have dealt with more than my fair share of estate agents, I have found that they are not all honest, helpful or compassionate.
However, Patrick, Steven and the team in the Braintree office are all 3.
After a sale falling through 4 days before completion, not their fault i add, they listened to my tears, and moved mountains to re sell my home for me, which they did in less than 24 hours, twice!!!!!
I cannot recommend Patrick and the team enough. If you want honest, straight forward, hard-working estate agents Michaels is the one for you.
They will be my go to in the future.
Professional to a fault, but also make you feel like YOU are all they care about. Well done guys, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
