We are first time buyers and have had a nightmare with our Solicitors Firm, Jacqui, Aaron and the team have been so supportive and thorough with information throughout the whole process! Our initial and 2nd viewing with Max was great, he was very accommodating and informative both times. The team at Michaels were amazing from start to finish. A massive thank you to Gemma who got the sale through against the odds. Patrick came to do the valuation making me feel relaxed about the whole process, he took the time to explain everything, was very professional and I felt like I was valued not just another property. Not sure how any business is being concluded when agents never answer the phone or give callbacks. Took me 2 weeks to get a hold of a decent agent after two different people gave me hardly any enthusiasm and promised that they would give me a callback/pass my details on to discuss arranging a viewing on a property i was interested in and even then the decent agent failed to call me back on 2 occasions and totally forgot about my enquiry. The property is not available now and i’m disappointed that Michaels didn’t even give me a chance. How hard is it to return a quick call or send an email!👎🏻

Moved out of our house last weekend and Michael's done their standard checkout checks. Alot of false statement as what looks like reused pictures from the inventory before we moved in. Laura one of the rental agents is extremely rude and arrogant and would advise avoiding her like the plague. Would not recommend anybody use Michael's as they will try to rob you of deposits by use of false claims. 0/10 would never use again.

We rented through this company for two years, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a real estate agency, and I’ve dealt with many across different countries. When I moved in, the property was in a truly appalling condition. It had clearly not been cleaned at all after the previous tenants left. There was for example rotten, uneaten food in the oven and urine throughout the bathroom. I had specifically been asked to delay my move-in date so the property could be professionally cleaned (they were aware of the condition), which was obviously not done. After I complained, they eventually sent cleaners, but in the meantime, I had to stay in a hotel because the property was completely horrendous. When I politely requested financial compensation for this, I was met with reluctance, a lack of empathy, and what felt like dismissive and dishonest responses, with an underlying misogynistic tone. Throughout the tenancy, we experienced multiple issues that were largely ignored. These included problems with hot water, I was told to my face that a 37°C shower is “standard” in the UK and sufficient, as well as faulty heaters that claimed to be working while failing to heat the property and consuming excessive energy. There was also substantial mould growth, which was only addressed months later. Even then, the issue was not properly resolved, they simply installed a small fan and considered the matter closed, without cleaning or treating the mould itself. There were more issues, but these examples give a clear picture. It was such a relief to finally be done with them. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders after such a stressful experience. Real estate agencies often have a poor reputation, but this one stands out as particularly bad, even among the worst. I strongly advise avoiding this company for tenants and landlords!
