I cannot fault this Estate Agent. The service I received from the outset was first class. They keep you updated weekly throughout the process and worked tirelessly to ensure my property completed quickly. When problems occurred with the chain they were immediately on it to get things resolved. Lee & Ollie were always extremely helpful and a special mention for Nikki who went above and beyond to ensure every problem was resolved quickly and always keeping me up to date.

Michaels Estate Agent have always been friendly and helpful. I don't usually leave reviews but I need to write positively about my experience with Michaels and especially Kyle Hockley. I have 3 rental properties and have used various agents over the years woth mixed experiences but I would only now use Michaels going forward. Kyle was professional, accurately priced my properties and got the asking price all within a week of being advertised. Kyle also takes very good photos!

GoogleWe rented through this company for two years, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a real estate agency, and I’ve dealt with many across different countries.
When I moved in, the property was in a truly appalling condition. It had clearly not been cleaned at all after the previous tenants left. There was for example rotten, uneaten food in the oven and urine throughout the bathroom. I had specifically been asked to delay my move-in date so the property could be professionally cleaned (they were aware of the condition), which was obviously not done.
After I complained, they eventually sent cleaners, but in the meantime, I had to stay in a hotel because the property was completely horrendous. When I politely requested financial compensation for this, I was met with reluctance, a lack of empathy, and what felt like dismissive and dishonest responses, with an underlying misogynistic tone.
Throughout the tenancy, we experienced multiple issues that were largely ignored. These included problems with hot water, I was told to my face that a 37°C shower is “standard” in the UK and sufficient, as well as faulty heaters that claimed to be working while failing to heat the property and consuming excessive energy.
There was also substantial mould growth, which was only addressed months later. Even then, the issue was not properly resolved, they simply installed a small fan and considered the matter closed, without cleaning or treating the mould itself.
There were more issues, but these examples give a clear picture. It was such a relief to finally be done with them. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders after such a stressful experience.
Real estate agencies often have a poor reputation, but this one stands out as particularly bad, even among the worst.
I strongly advise avoiding this company for tenants and landlords!

Me and my partner have just began renting a property through Michaels and they have been professional and brilliant throughout! We have had negative experiences with other estate agents in the area - we felt other agencies in the area lacked communication and did not take us seriously, but Michael’s were fabulous throughout. We went in to request a viewing and 2 weeks later, we moved into the property!
