Not naming or shaming as not my style

Not naming or shaming as not my style, but we were initially with another estate agent. Ok it was the school holidays and we did not have much interest when we first put it on the market. I get that. But there was no communication, no help and to be honest very stressful. When we took on Michael’s , immediately they were so friendly , kept us updated did all the hard work getting interest through the doors and we sold it more or less straight away. Well done Ollie for that and helping us throughout with yours and Lees help , it was stress free and would highly recommend them. Wish we had gone with you in the first place. Only reason was that particular estate agent was up the road from us, but they def need to be retrained to Michaels high standards. Then once sold Jo took on all the rest. And once again stress free, helpful polite and communication spot on. Thank you.ok gonna be honest there was a few hiccups on the way , but none that was your fault. But you showed your professionalism and dealt with it immediately. Well done. Thank you. Highly recommend to anyone. Craig , Stanway.

Michaels have been exceptional from the very first time we contacted them to completion. Max visited us for a valuation and explained the whole process with kindness, patience and professionalism. Michaels had our property sold to our first viewers and the whole process only took three months. Their photos and description of the property are superb. When phoning the Colchester branch I was always left satisfied with the responses from them, if it was something that needed resolving it was dealt with swiftly and I was kept informed of progress on a regular basis. Jo was amazing with her support throughout the process, she dealt with issues that could have become stressful and reassured us when we had worries, a true pro. Highly recommend! I’ve dealt mainly with Cameron, Mike and Nikki who have all been amazing from start to finish! As a first time seller, selling a flat I didn’t know much about certain things, however Nikki and Mike made sure I understood everything and would keep me updated weekly. They all understood the urgency of our sale and done everything possible to meet our deadline. Cameron took great pictures and between them all we had a lot of viewings in the first week and secured a buyer within 10 days. Cameron also helped to explain processes to us when we were clueless and nothing seemed too much trouble for any of them. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael’s and the team to anybody!

This is a massive appreciation post for KYLE!! After a long and hard journey of my mother in law passing away and CHP and their awful laws not letting our family stay in our family home that we’ve been in since the house was built.. KYLE HAS BEEN AMAZING through the whole process of helping us search for a new home, after multiple times, time and time again of looking at so many different properties, and not being accepted due to so many applications, Kyle went above and beyond and didn’t stop until he found us our perfect home! Kyle has been amazing throughout our whole journey and has been the best support network and made us have hope, when we was nearly at the stage of giving up! Purchased a property through Michaels and they were fabulous from beginning to end. Our purchase was very complicated and took 8 months ( no fault of Michaels ) and they chased daily for us and did everything they could to get everything done as quickly as possible, keeping us informed along the way. Manager Carla went above and beyond to ensure our purchase was successful and Max and Lee were instrumental factors towards our purchase also. Nothing was too much trouble for Michaels and we couldn’t have wished for a better service. Highly recommend the Wivenhoe branch and would definitely use again!

Whilst unusual, this turned out to be the perfect decision in what was became, due to outside factors, a protracted and stressful move. Michaels Property in Colchester have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. I viewed a property back in July, fell in love with it straight away and put an offer in. Emma talked me through everything and helped sort my mortgage and all of my insurances, she was fantastic. Through the process there were a few bumps along the way but Nikki was there to support me the whole time. Every time there was problem she was at the end of the phone or email to help me and chase for answers, whilst being absolutely lovely too, I could not of done it without her. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Michaels both as a buyer and a landlord. Each time they have been prompt, professional and uncompromising on their integrity. They reply to emails promptly, they advise me when I'm in a tight spot and they are genuinely nice people. Particularly Samuel who is on my speed-dial and probably wishes he wasn't ;-), but is always charming. In an industry that doesn't have they best reputation, they are quite exceptional and deserve every accolade.
