We recently sold my father's house through Keenan's (Rochdale). The choice of Keenan's was largely down to the pro-active approach taken by manager, Aaron, who remained enthusiastic throughout the process, and energised his team. Importantly, they did what they said they would do: communicated with us on a weekly basis (more often, when necessary), liaised effectively between us and the buyers, and acted in a thoroughly professional and friendly manner throughout. The team members who dealt with our sale, Nicole, James and, of course, Aaron, were a pleasure to deal with - nothing was too much trouble. Huge thanks to Keenan's!

We appointed Keenans in February to sell our house. Aaron was our account exec supported by Nicole, who together make up the Rochdale team. Throughout the sale process I must have spoken to Aaron hundreds of times as we discussed the prospective offers prior to agreeing a sale and then working our way through the sales process. At times we encountered obstacles and difficulties which caused great frustration and anxiety but at all times, Aaron was very supportive, understanding and professional, even when we became emotional, and was able to calmly steer us through to a successful completion. From start to finish it took 6 months which I understand is pretty standard. I am pleased we chose Keenans to act as our agent and would like to thank Aaron once again for all his hard work and effort on our behalf.

Staff were friendly when we called - we just found it frustrating that the property listings aren't updated regularly. We called a few times about properties showing available on their website and Rightmove to be told they'd actually sold a while ago. The ones we'd driven past even still had 'for sale' signs outside. It's a shame as it put us off looking at other homes advertised by Keenans as we didn't want to get our hopes up when they were likely already sold.

Really poor communication from this branch. Don’t call back when they say they will .. don’t send email when they say they will .. Very little interest if you have an issue .. just expect you to chase contractors and arrange getting things fixed. No follow up calls checking everything’s sorted and the customers happy. Just a very basic level of customer service would be nice .. as it is clear that based on service received so Far .. this is the best I can hope for.

The service myself and my siblings received from Keenans was exceptional. Unfortunately, we lost our mum and dad within 12 weeks of each other, as I was the only sibling living locally, I sourced an estate agent and chose Keenans. All the team, particularly at the Barnoldswick office were friendly, helpful and kept me informed throughout the whole process of selling our late parents house We had multiple viewings, all carried out by them, as I have restricted mobility issues. If ever I had any questions or concerns they were dealt with. The house sold very quickly, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Keenans. Before you attempt to discredit me do not forget you upset my wife so much you sent a bouquet of flowers as an apology.
