My property was undervalued by £10000- £15000. The argument behind it, which was to get more people through the door, was more to have a quick turnaround and get a commission. We spent 2 years renovating our property and had we agreed with them, we would have lost massively and couldn't have been able to afford our next property.By law, estate agent should be advertising their fee inclusive of VAT. The agent kept the VAT hidden until when the paper had to be signed, only to be shocked by an extra 20%. The first visit was filled with marketing tricks and fake offers which turned out to be higher than other agencies.

All of our fees ( including VAT) are clearly stated on all of our fee schedules/ paperwork/ marketing material. That aside a suggested marketing price and an achieved price are two very different things but statistically, compared to regional averages time and time again we have been independently recognised as achieving higher prices for our customers- it’s a shame here that didn’t give us the opportunity to show you what price we are able to achieve for you!
