GoogleJohn D Wood is a responsible and efficient agency. Thank you very much to Celia who helped me to find and settle in a new place. From viewing, drafting and signing contract, to moving in and inventory check, Celia has been extremely helpful. Celia is very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend John D Wood.

GoogleExemplary service received from John D Wood & Co., and Jackie Smith in particular. With her help we found a suitable flat quickly and moved in without a hitch. Very happy there too. Jackie has been very helpful throughout, also following through on details (such as going and checking the dimensions of the beds, so we could bring the correct sized sheets) and in answering all our questions since moving in. GoogleAlthough I did not find a rental through John D Wood & Co, I have to point out that their employee- Celia Francis, has proved an asset to the company, and has left a great impression of the values that Im sure John D Wood & Co aim to stand for. Through what is a stressful and unnerving experience of moving house, Celia has been the only lettings negotiator to call frequently, and send through details of properties that actually do match my search criteria. She has been personable, reliable, and genuinely seemed to care. I felt Celia treated me like an individual, and tailored her search accordingly. She also made it very easy to access information, and went the extra mile where other agents would not. I hope John D Wood & Co realise what an asset Celia is for their team, and follow her example in customer service.

GoogleMy wife and I feel ourselves very fortunate to have been advised by Jackie Smith recently. We first met Jackie a decade ago, when she helped us to let out our cottage in Henley-on-Thames. We were very impressed then with the way Jackie took everything in her stride and made the whole process go smoothly and efficiently, and most of all with her unfailing courtesy and charming manner. We look back on the way she helped us then as outstanding: we really felt that here was a person whose reassurances that all would go well, could be relied on and that the outcome would be successful. We thought that finding a house last month in the centre of Oxford, that would suit all our needs, would be a major obstacle. We had already made enquiries with other estate agents who hadn't really taken on board our situation and needs, or found a property matching our requirements. However, when we heard that Jackie was still in John D. Wood's Lettings and could help us find a rental property, we were really very happy and relieved. Many years ago Jackie had made such a favourable impression on us: we were confident that she would find a solution for us. And she did. The first house we saw on the internet had already been promised but Jackie diplomatically questioned us and identified our specific family needs.The very same day, she directed us to the ideal house for us. She had matched our needs up perfectly with the right rental property: the ideal size, the right location for the station and schools, quiet street, ideal length of tenancy, good parking, and she negotiated what we consider to be the correct price. There were certain difficulties to iron out, as we are relocating from abroad, but Jackie Smith patiently ironed out all the associated problems and negotiated carefully on our behalf, liaising quickly and efficiently with the landlord to find solutions. She speedily arranged viewings of the house with the current tenants which was very helpful. We feel very grateful to Jackie Smith for the very professional way in which she has quided us through the whole process of finding a suitable property to rent, all in her unflappable, experienced way, with quiet efficiency and unerring tact. Jackie really is an exceptional estate agent and we now have absolutely no hesitation in recommending John D. Wood & Co Lettings to our family and friends. Sincerest thanks Jackie for making (what we thought would be) a very difficult, challenging and stressful time, into a well-organised and unstressful experience.

GoogleMy husband and I arrived in Oxford in January and began looking for longer-term accommodation. After several weeks of horrible experiences with other estate agencies, we happened to find a flat listing represented by John D. Wood & Co. Right from the beginning, our experience with our agent, Lucie Wood, was excellent. She was extremely prompt in replying to my initial inquiry, and in all her follow up calls and emails. She was also very friendly and helpful with all our little questions about the flat and the process of renting. I cannot recommend the company, and Lucie Wood, highly enough. We were very fortunate to work with them on renting our home here in Oxford!

GoogleI recently attempted renting a place in Summertown with John D Wood. I arrived just as they had closed for business! But, they nevertheless saw me. I met with Jackie Smith who was extremely helpful. She arranged a viewing of a property that I liked immediately, with the help of her colleague drove me to the place and before I knew it I found myself saying yes! I am moving in a few days time! I can say that John D Wood, especially Jackie Smith who was my contact, are very attentive, prompt and supportive. I can recommend them highly!

GoogleOnce again John D Wood & Co.’s Oxford office has provided an excellent service in re-letting my flat. Everyone in the office is friendly (the staff make a point of immediately standing up and greeting you when you walk in), polite and very helpful. Lucie Wood arranged a very efficient change-over of tenants and dealt with all the detail, I was left with all but having to sign the agreement. Having let through John D Wood & Co. for a number of years I have no hesitation in continuing to give them the highest recommendation; they uphold the traditional value of genuine customer service and combine it with a very efficient online system, all the ‘paper work’ can be signed electronically by email.

GoogleI recently rented a property in Abingdon through John D Wood & Co, and had a fantastic experience with them. The agency, and Jackie Smith in particular, were professional, friendly, and were very attentive to me when I required assistance. Jackie walked me through every step of the tenancy, and was able to help me secure my home on an extremely tight timeline, which saved me a lot of headaches (and money!). As I moved here from Canada, there were several additional challenges (the lack of a UK bank account), and Jackie and the agency managed to resolve all of my issues very quickly and with no stress on my part. I have nothing but good things to say and would highly recommend using this agency.

GoogleI have recently sold my house with Faron Sutaria in Fulham in what turned out to be volatile and quite tricky to handle market conditions. Lucy and the team were brilliant, advising me on price and approach and holding my hand through all the ups and downs of the sales process. I would definitely recommend.

GoogleThe service I received from Damien Saunders at the Fulham branch was top rate. Explanations of details were clear, upfront and honest about fees etc and provided the perfect level/balance of assistance by always being at the end of the phone, without being pushy. By far the best experience I've had from a lettings agent.

GoogleAfter approaching a number of estate agents to help find a flat to rent, I was most impressed by Faron Sutaria in Fulham, and specifically with our negotiater Muryam. She actually listened to what we wanted and what our budget was, and was flexible with timings of when we could view - whereas most other estate agents had continually shown me properties that were over budget and nothing like what we wanted. We've now found the flat we've been looking for and can't wait to move in - thank you to Muryam for all her help!

GoogleI was very impressed with Faron Sutaria Lettings. After weeks of searching, numerous visits and interminable phone calls, my friend and I decided to randomly walk to the nearest estate agent office we could find and try our luck. And lucky we were, it took barely 20 minutes before the office found us 3 beautiful flats, all of which met our needs! Not only this but they managed to get us in contact with the owner and negotiated us a deal in 24hrs, handing us the keys 2 days later! Overall I am very pleased with Faron Sutaria Lettings. Their staff was professional, friendly and offered much needed advice and help, which greatly contrasted to other estate agents who pushed us to take the first thing they showed us and criticised us if we didn't. Thank you again!!

GoogleOutstanding service. After seeing many flats in the area which did not suit me, Faron Sutaria showed me three great flats, each better than the last. The agent, Damien, was not pushy like many other agents trying desperately to let their mediocre flats. Instead he was friendly, well informed and went above and beyond to help us expedite the process. I highly recommend this service.

GoogleI am a landlord and I have used Faron Sutaria for over a year to find tenants for our flat. There are many things that have impressed me about Faron Sutaria in Fulham but the most valuable thing for me has been having the continuity of staff. So many other agencies have fast staff turnover and you can never build a relationship with the letting agent. This has not been my experience at Faron Sutaria and Tanya has been such a support through two tenancies. Not only is she super efficient but she anticipates my needs and is sympathetic and understanding. I have been crossing my fingers that she stays for a long time. I highly recommend this agency and I think Tanya is a gem !

GoogleWhen my partner & I walked into Faron Sutaria looking for our first place to rent together, we knew straight away that Muryam was the perfect agent for us. Not only did she understand what we were after and actually listened to our budget & criteria, but she was genuinely willing to help us as best she could. And the outcome was 100% ! Such a personable, warm and friendly agent, she is an asset to what is very clearly a fantastic real estate agency. We couldn't be happier with the service at F.S and look forward to our tenancy! As a first time landlord, I was expecting to have to constantly chase or watch my back, but my experience was completely the opposite. GoogleFaron Sutaria and Damien are fantastic. Looking for our first rental in Fulham was proving rather more difficult than we had anticipated. Trying to find a ground floor flat with outside space for my cats to live in the middle of summer was a very tall order. Faron Sutaria had the perfect place, were able to show us round within hours and had secured us the property within 24 hours. Damien has been extremely responsive and friendly even when I have done nothing but pester him. I would recommend both the Company and individual to anyone.
