We are experienced at buying and selling properties in London and when we started to assist our son in his search for a flat we proceeded with caution knowing that finding the right people to work with in the property business in London is not always easy. There is pretension and quite frankly dishonesty in this field, with many agencies looking at numbers and not at making people happy. However, from the moment we met Maria Oliveros we knew we were onto a winner. She listened, really listened to our needs and was transparent and honest with her answers to any questions. She got to know my son and his girlfriend, building a profile and matching their needs to the properties she found for them. She did not waste their time showing them properties that were not suitable just to get them through the door and fulfil a rota - as was the case with other agents - regularly kept them upto date with her search before hitting bingo a few months later. I was extremely lucky and grateful that I had Amy Odell handling the sale of my flat. She was an absolute professional and at the same time she was really understanding about all the difficulties that had occurred. She did a lot more than what she was strictly expected from her side. She was extremely efficient and knowledgeable, not only in the properties available but also in the type of property that would suit me. I rent a property through John D Wood. I had an issue with the garage door opening mechanism. Telephoned the Lymington office and spoke with Bonnie. She apologised for the problem we were facing and assured me it would be dealt with immediately. Mainly because we were suffering with extreme wet weather and I was concerned with the amount of rain water and the garage being insecure. Sure enough, the following morning the garage was fixed!
