The wonderful team at John D. Wood made our idyllic home in Oxford possible! From the first moment, they were responsive and observant of every last detail. While we were house hunting from the US, Jackie gave us Skype tours of the house, answered every question, helped us through all the details of letting, and advocated for us as tenants. Throughout our year, Carol looked after us and responded immediately to every question or issue we had. They made us feel valued and cared for at every turn. We are enormously grateful for their time and support, and couldn't be more thankful for the beautiful Oxford home they made possible. Thank you, John D. Wood!!!

Thank you to Jackie and the John.D.Wood team for their excellent service. Finding a property when you are new to the UK and Oxford could have been daunting. Yet with the honest and reliable service from John.D.Wood we were able to move forward confidently in our decision making. From the out set there was clear communication about our responsibility as a tenant and John.D.Woods responsibility as a property manager. I would highly recommend Jackie and her team to help you find your next property. Allison Leslie

We are using John D Wood to rent our 4-bed property in Chilton. We initially dealt with John d Wood as were were tenants ourselves. We purchased our own property and due to us relocating internationally, we had to rent our house out. We had not even considered anyone else to manage our rental. We had repeated excellent service from Jackie, Ceilia and Janine. The process of facilitating a clean and stress-free exit for our departing tenants, was efficient and very professional. It is especially important as we live abroad and want to ensure our property is well taken care of and left in good order, for the next tenants. Jackie and the team and John D Wood also did an excellent job at finding us new tenants and the property was occupied with two weeks. Their excellent service, especially their frequent communication and keeping us up to date with the marketing plan and progress, was of great help.

I've been using the St Margarets office for property management since 2012. I find Shona Fraser and her team professional, efficient and helpful. My aim is to be involved as little as possible in the day to day running and Shona and her team help to keep it that way.

Jessica was fantastic in our flat sale, keeping her cool and her sense of humour when all about her people were losing theirs. She was professional, friendly, cheery, reassuring and very effective. Thanks Jessica!!

Many moons ago I purchased my first property through Simon Philp. Since then I have moved numerous times and I only ever trust Simon to sell my homes. He’s honest, he’s always calm and very knowledgeable. I recommend Simon to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property

Great help! Couldn’t recommend Simon and the JDW & Co team highly enough. In the past I have had very bad experiences with the process of purchasing a property. However, from day one of working with Simon, he was welcoming, transparent and very helpful every step of the way. I have found the process of buying my first property easy and have felt very supported by the whole team. I could not recommend JDW & Co highly enough and I will be doing so to friends and family in the future. Thank you again for your help!

Shona Fraser in particular was excellent and got the flat let before it was even finished by the builders. Tenants are top quality and the entire office have always been very helpful even when I was just popping in for advice prior to instructing them. Highly recommend John D Wood, St Margarets.

Simon and Jessica of the John D Wood St. Margaret's office have played crucial roles in assisting us to find buyers for our properties and assist in communications between ourselves, the buyers and the solicitors for both parties throughout the conveyancing process. Simon and Jessica's assistance has made the process smooth and quick. We highly recommend Simon, Jessica and the team!

Although we didn’t end up buying through John D Wood, we (my wife and I) were thoroughly impressed by John D Wood generally and, in particular, Simon Philip. They really were the best agents we dealt with. I would strongly recommend them and expect to use them when we sell our house.

Simon and Jessica have just sold our house in St Margarets. They did a fantastic job of managing our expectations throughout the period our house was on the market and helped us to achieve a price we were extremely happy with. Communicative and professional, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Many thanks.

Thank you so much for the great team effort in selling our house and securing our new house, I'm writing this so you can hopefully use some of it as a testimonial Downsizing is always difficult as it feels like an end of an era, so it is especially important to have the right team in place From the original valuation by Jessica, where her positive yet firm and knowledgable attitude won the listing, we never wavered in our support as we could see that she and Simon always knew what was happening before we asked the questions. Jack came in at the end on our purchase and the way that the whole team pulled together as one was really reassuring. No question too silly and nothing was too much trouble. I felt that I was their only client. I have bought and sold 11 properties over the years and this is the best experience ever (and this is despite it being a very painful chain). If I could, I'd persuade people to move and get them to use John D Wood, just so that their impression of 'Estate Agents' can be changed for ever ! Jessica, Simon and Jack delivered the goods, and John D Wood should do all they can to hang on to them

Fantastic service. James Mooney showed me an apartment I never would have thought to view and I loved it! Living there now and I’m very happy. Great for estate agents to think outside the box sometimes. Many thanks!

We have used JDW's services (previously Faron Sutaria) for a number of years now. We have always found them very competent, helpful and friendly. Our latest experience with James Mooney, Talullah Jackson and Toby Gooding at the Fulham branch has not disappointed us. They go an extra mile to be accomodating. We would highly recommend them.

James Mooney from JDW helped us recently with our flat search. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and very prompt in his responses. He took the time to understand our requirements and supported us with our search almost like a friend. I would definitely recommend James to anyone who is looking for a place to rent and has contacted JDW. Thanks James and I wish you all the very best for the future.

It has been a real pleasure to instruct the sale of our property with Andrew and Angus at Fulham. They found a perfect buyer for the property and were incredibly professional at all stags of the process, helping to bring the sale smoothly to completion. I highly recommend them as agents who know the area incredibly well and who can really make a difference.

I am editing my review after many horrible experiences with their Management Company and after living in the flat for 5 months. The management side of the business is completely incompetent and unhelpful. This results in frustrated tenants and landlords receiving bad value for money. I would caution renting a flat that is managed by this firm. Original Post: We had a very positive experience working with John D Wood Lettings from start to finish. Our agent, James Mooney, was especially patient with us, ensuring we were able to negotiate dates, times and changes we requested and being highly personable throughout. I would highly recommend him.

I have dealt with Faron Sutaria (which was acquired by John D. Wood) for renting a flat in SW London. Toby from the Fulham office has been really excellent in sorting everything out, Rita was amazing for management related issues etc. All in all, best agency by far I had the pleasure dealing with during my 5 year stint in London. I truly recommend them.
