JD Wood had tried unsuccessfully to let my flat at the start of the year. We then agreed for them to take it off the market while I did holiday let's and put it back on the market in September. They just got hold of me to ask if I had any gaps to show people around. I replied giving them dates but saying I wasn't aware of them having it on the market. They replied saying it was just on the internal website. This I found out to be untrue as it was also on rightmove and had never been taken off. It was on the last page as by now very stale. For a flat that had never had a void and is letting very well on short let's it's not very good to of not had any show arounds till now for several months when it was meant to be off the market. I won't be using JD Wood in the future.

We recently sold our flat on Redcliffe Gardens thanks to the hard work and persistence of George Henderson. Its an incredibly difficult market at the moment and very price sensitive. Having put the property on with some of the other big name agencies, George really worked hard and managed to obtain a great offer from an oversees buyer, and really sat on top of the whole process and was great during the negotiation period and when the lawyers needed a push. Its now the second property we have sold with them and they have become my go-to agent. Great job guys

I have recently re-located with my family to the Oxford area from North Yorkshire for work and personal reasons. I decided to rent for a year to get to know the area before committing to purchasing a house. I contacted John D Wood & Co in Oxford about renting a property and they couldn't have been more helpful. From the initial point of contact through to the signature of the contract and handing over the keys they couldn't have done any more to help. I would like to personally mention and thank Jacqueline Smith (for overseeing the entire process and listening to my needs at every juncture), Celia Francis (for conducting a thorough viewing of the property and also dealing with many questions that I had - including outside what's deemed normal office hours) and Janine Riddell (for efficiently dealing with all the relevant paperwork and referencing).
