I rented a flat through their agency for a year. They sent me the check-in inventory 9 months after the beginning of my rental agreement, after many fights with them because they DIDN’T know who had it. When I left the flat after a year, they sent me the inventory check out 2 weeks after it being done and i’m still chasing for my deposit after a month. BAD AGENTS, BAD AGENCY

Sadly I have had a terrible experience with John D Wood when checking out of my property. They encouraged the landlord to make deductions from my deposit that were completely unfair and fabricated (and which I am now disputing). I not recommend them to anyone.

I’ve worked with a couple of estate agents over the last few years and I can’t recommend Katie Sweetingham from John D Wood enough. I had a very specific house criteria and she went over and beyond to help me find the perfect property which took us months to get right, yet she never gave up and constantly updated me on options! Definitely my go to for all lettings and sales moving forward!

Had a wonderful experience with Katie who was very thoughtful in the selection of apartments she showed us that matched our specific preferences and requirements, thanks to her attention to detail. She was very responsive, methodical and dependable with her follow ups. The office is knowledgeable and very up to date with available properties, and works with many landlords on a long term basis, Katie made the entire process hassle free, with good coordination among her colleagues for weekend cover. On top of everything, she’s got a wonderful personality, real energy and is a real pleasure to work with. I would have no reservations in recommending her to anyone in search of somewhere to live in the area..

I have been delighted with the excellent service I received from all of the John D Wood Chelsea team. It started with Katherine, who was the only property agent I met during my search that took the time to really understand what was important to me and as a result she quickly identified my ideal flat; a very professional and a lovely lady. Then she along with Ghiles, and Isaac made every effort to enable me to move into my new home in a very tight time scale. And now Tamara is taking excellent care of the day to day property management. Thank you all, your support is much appreciated

I had a really good experience with my move, helped enormously by Radi at John D Wood in Notting Hill. He was extremely efficient, detailed, prompt and responsive. It's been the least stressful move I've ever made, and that's been 10 in the last 18 years. I just hope I don't need to move again for rather a long time...

I moved out property TW10 6QH on 26th July. On 10th August, Sousan told me deposit release with account team and will be with me within 3-5 working days. I keep chase them as I still haven’t received anything. On 20th August they are saying this Sousan put incorrect bank detail so it was rejected initially cause the significant delay! But no one contacted me at all unless I ring them chase my deposit ! Which I gave in email is the right. I just don’t know what they are doing those useless people. Why hold other’s money for this long period time earn interest?? And it looks like I still won’t recieve anything back next week. Today is 24th August. Over a month my deposit hasn’t returned. Some serious joke this is!!! This company or this branch just whole lot bollix useless person doing nothing.
