I need to start by saying I absolutely HATE letting agents. Most of them are just trying to push properties that have no relation to what you're looking for. I also need to mention I have a small dog, so you can only imagine that an already difficult task only gets more complicated. That being said, I have been swept off my feet by James Mooney from John D. Wood's Fulham office. I first spoke with James in October 2018 after calling about a property I saw through Rightmove. Although that one was not available at the time, he sent through some that he thought could suit, which I used to provide feedback. I then moved on to send him two links of properties that were up to the standards we were looking for. That was really the trigger for a very personalized exchange in the spam of 3 months. I literally have a thread with 43 emails before we ever even met. He would ask about me and Bruno (my dog) and would address us both whenever he communicated with me. He respected my wishes of not only NOT being added to their mailing list, but also not to call or contact me unless it was relevant. The times he emailed me were just to touch base and to let me know he was still on the lookout. All in a very friendly and emphatic manner. Mid January rolls in and I get a call from him, the 1st since our initial call and after all of the emailing. I couldn't get it, but I then found an email saying he had found THE one. He told me he didn't have photos yet but, if I trusted him, we could see straight away. What was I going to do? I had to, at a minimum, meet my virtual best friend. And, boy, did he deliver! I have to say this was the best house from the ones we had seen, despite it having only one bathroom (we wanted ideally two but could compromise on that aspect) We obviously made an offer and, luckily, it was accepted. James was diligent during the process between the offer and the actual move date. He helped with so many things, to the point that my skeptical boyfriend (he has the same opinion of agents that I have) completely converted. We three (I'll include Bruno on this) are James' fans. Thank you James for finding us a dream place we can call home! If you read all this review, please, do get in touch with him if you ever need to find the place of your dreams.

We purchased a property in Parsons Green through Zara Watterson of John D Wood Estate Agents and I cannot praise Zara enough for the professional manner in which she dealt with the whole transaction. It was a frustrating and drawn out transaction which was exacerbated by the fact that we reside overseas. However, Zara was unfailing in her professional approach to the extent that when our solicitor was away she took it upon herself to follow up with the seller’s solicitors in order to give us regular updates on the progress of the contract. Zara often went beyond the call of duty; on one occasion I emailed her on a Sunday evening and she responded immediately, despite being in hospital and extremely ill. It was refreshing to deal with someone so efficient, professional and gracious.

I have been looking for a flat in the South Kensington area, but had a few important constraints that limited my options quite a bit - I have two dogs, and needed a place with either a balcony or a garden, and that was also pet friendly. I was helped by Mr. Sebastian Aquilino at the Gloucester Road John D Wood, who was very determined and persistent in trying to find a nice flat for me.
