I have been looking for a flat in the South Kensington area, but had a few important constraints that limited my options quite a bit - I have two dogs, and needed a place with either a balcony or a garden, and that was also pet friendly. I was helped by Mr. Sebastian Aquilino at the Gloucester Road John D Wood, who was very determined and persistent in trying to find a nice flat for me. He was very quick to understand the standard and style that I was looking for, and though we looked at quite a few options before finding the final one, all of them were exactly the style that I wanted. I find this to be a very valuable skill in this business. I am currently in the referencing part of the process, but everything has been uneventful and straightforward. Big thanks to Sebastian and John D Wood for helping me find a perfect flat!

The Wimbledon branch provided a standard service. At times it felt like organising surveyors following our building survey on the property we were purchasing was a nuisance for them however they agreed to it but not willingly. It made the process a bit more stressful but otherwise things went to plan so didnt have to speak to them much after this.

All the staff have in the various departments have consistently been helpful, reliable and willing to go above and beyond (particularly in the managing whilst we were away). Another estate agent very badly messed up the launch of our house onto the market, but John D Wood managed to recover the situation and secure two good offers (in a slightly sticky market) within a couple of months. Due mainly to our buyers' solicitor, the sale then progressed slowly and with difficulty, requiring much patience, perseverance and problem-solving by the whole team at JDW and Annie in particular. As it turned out, more lateral thinking and excellent deal-making by Annie meant that we ended up buying (off-market) through JDW as well. Despite it all being hugely complicated and problematic, the sale and purchase got done in the end which probably wouldn't have been the case without the talents and above-and-beyond efforts of JDW/Annie. We are extremely grateful to them and thankful that we chose to move to them after our disastrous experience with the agent we chose initially.

We were very fortunate to have let through John D Wood in Summertown for the past three years. Celia helped us get our first flat when we initially moved to the UK from the US and it was a very positive experience, which we were particularly grateful for since we were unable to view the place in person before moving. Celia was extremely helpful, responsive, and the flat exceeded our expectations when we arrived! We also dealt extensively with Carol who helped manage our property and she was always very kind, easy to work with, and dealt promptly with any concerns. The second property was also managed by Carol and we continued to be very happy with her service!
