Gatley is an absolute superstar agent. Despite my complete lack of experience and a wide variety of issues on my side including the need for an unusually fast execution he helped with every aspect of the transaction from recommending lawyers and surveyors to helping with price negotiations, chasing lawyers and management and even helped organise a free change of locks, inclusion of any furniture I wanted and a removals van to take the rest during the Christmas period. Absolute pleasure to work with, extremely fast, polite, friendly and goes far above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly under extremely tight deadlines. Thank you Gatley - spectacular service.

Poor communication. Wish I had chosen another agency to let our house with.

Andrew Topping is absolutely brilliant. Apart from selling a house for me in possibly the worst market conditions in living memory, he always answers the phone instantly and replies to emails within minutes - if anything, Andrew works too hard! I would highly recommend him and John D Wood for selling your house. True professionals.

Amazing experience with Pia during my search. Of all the agents I worked with her level of attentiveness and expertise were by far the best. Highly recommend anyone looking in the area speaks to her.

Only the highest recommendations for John D Wood - Pia was such a delight to work with, was always going out of her way to make time for us and ensure we felt looked after. We’re so pleased with our new flat in Fulham and will certainly be using the company again for our next move.

We purchased our property through John D Wood, and from the very first meeting with Ross and Annabelle, the experience was exceptional. Both Ross and Annabelle were consistently supportive, informative, clear, and honest throughout the entire process and showing us round the property and answering many questions on all viewings we did. Ross went above and beyond during the transaction, keeping us updated at every stage and proactively engaging with all parties in the chain to ensure everything progressed smoothly without delays or setbacks. It was truly a first-class, supportive service, and we would not hesitate to get in touch again if needed. Thank you! Damian & Lucy

Fantastic estate agents, highly recommend. After a poor experience with a previous agency where we were constantly chasing for updates, the communication here was a complete breath of fresh air. They were proactive, reliable, and always kept us fully informed without us ever needing to ask. If they said they’d do something, they did it. They also went above and beyond with the marketing and stayed hands-on right through to completion, even offering helpful advice for our next purchase. Truly exceptional service.

What a team! Let's just say that our house sale was epic... fraught with issues but JD Wood never dropped the balls - unlike the other agent supposedly marketing the property, who never even picked up the balls... I digress! Ross managed everything so well, spinning an impressive number of plates and keeping us informed along the way, and it was always lovely to have Annabelle at the end of the phone. I wouldn't hesitate to use JD again, and would recommend them to anyone selling in the area. Thanks so much and I hope you have your feet up now, Ross!

I couldn’t have been happier with the team at JDW Lymington, they swiftly found me a buyer and the whole process was stress free and efficient with great communication. Amanda Fry was a superstar and handled the sale perfectly along with the rest of the team.

5 stars aren't enough to rate the experience I had today. :) Moving home can be very stressful, but Eleni from the Lymington branch was an absolute star and made it the best experience I've had in years. Eleni was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and her positivity was absolutely contagious. I started the experience with high anxiety, and feeling like if I not only found my dream home but also a "friend". I lived in 6 different countries, moved over 20 times and this has been by far the best experience out of all of them. Couldn't recommend the services more.

Pia Foulser is genuinely incredible. She helped my daughter find a flat and it was the first time in this whole process that we felt truly listened to. After dealing with so many agents who kept sending things over budget or nowhere near what she needed, Pia was a complete breath of fresh air. She understood exactly what my daughter was looking for and somehow found the most lovely place in Chelsea, under budget, and without any of the stress we had come to expect. She made everything quick and seamless from start to finish. No confusion, no back and forth, just clarity, warmth, and real care for getting it right. Pia has such a wonderful personality. She’s warm, genuine, and feels like someone who is actually on your side. Working with her felt like having a friend in the industry who knows exactly what she’s doing and won’t stop until you’re happy. We’re honestly so grateful. Pia is the best, and we couldn’t recommend her more.

I am so grateful to Andrew and Julian for helping us find our dream home. When we were looking for a house, we interacted with so many agencies, and John D Wood were in a league of their own. The visits weren't rushed, they were honest, and there was a sense of ease and care throughout all of our interactions. They are really thoughtful. When we had finally completed the sale, Julian decided to drive to us to deliver the keys rather than having us go get them at their office, which felt really special. After we had made our offer, any question we had, they were happy to answer, and whenever we reached out they would respond right away. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently completed the purchase of our new home. I was very impressed by how Peter Woods handled the entire process, from initial viewing through to completion. Peter was responsive and easily contactable, even from before we had made an offer. We arranged multiple visits between offer acceptance up to exchange of contracts (builders, architects), and Peter was always accommodating. As a buyer, it was extremely helpful to have Peter's guidance, keeping things on track yet not placing undue pressure on either us or the seller. I highly recommend to buyers or sellers.

I used John D wood Summertown for the sale of my property and I would very much recommend them. Andrew Topping was really excellent both in terms of his advice and support through the process. Also very grateful to Craig who filled in during his absence and took the time to speak to me about options.

I’ve had a positive experience buying a property through John D. Wood. Andrew in particular has been fantastic and very communicative in providing updates on the sale. It makes such a different to have an agent that sees the purchase through from beginning to end.
