We sold our flat in the second week of October with John D Wood and the whole transaction was fantastic. We honestly couldn't have had better estate agents. This was our second time of listing the flat as we had tried before with another agent the previous year and oh my word the service with John D Wood was so so much better. So basically the new strategy that lettings agents advise and probably convince landlord to go by is: 1. List the propriety for a lower price to generate interest 2. Tell people that make offers that someone has already offered the asking price so that they can start a bidding war and drive the price up 3. Play new tenants into paying more for the actual propriety. Very nice. If you hear them saying that someone has already offered the asking price know that they were never looking to accept the asking price and just make you take part in their bidding war which means they are a very sleazy agency and you definitely don't want to be conned by them! Be smart. I hope this review helps some people realize what has become of the lettings market. Shame on you letting agents.

Recently rented a property using the Fulham branch and it has been a positive experience. Leva got in touch to the enquiry I had sent and showed few more flats proactively that matched our needs. She was also helpful in arranging further visits when we were finalizing on a particular one and getting queries answered from the outgoing tenants. This gave us the comfort and she was never pushy so we got our time to take the decision. Also, interacted with Chantelle who too helpful and guided well on the process.
