GoogleI worked with Felix Jones to secure our lease. We had a short time frame to find a property, we were also trying to organise the move from overseas. GoogleI can only talk positively about John d wood and Daniel who my self and my partner had the pleasure of dealing with, while we purchased a property. An extremely professional and knowledgeable individual who was always ready to answer any questions we presented with the most up to date information. knowledgable in all aspects of the property and area, making us feel very at ease with the whole process from start to finish. GoogleWe would highly recommend John D Wood in Parsons Green to anyone selling a family house. Before the house was listed online (c£3.5m), they were able to show it to a select group of their most motivated buyers, one of whom ultimately bought the house. This is the test of a genuinely good agent. Molly, Adrian and Daniel all excelled!

GoogleWe engaged John D Wood to let our property in East End, near Witney in Oxfordshire. We live abroad so had to rely on the letting agent to deal with most things in our absence. We dealt mainly with Jackie and Carol who were excellent. They both dealt with everything in a very professional and efficient manner. They also managed to find Tenants within a few weeks of instruction at the price pre-agreed. We would find it very challenging to suggest how they could improve anything. We were, and continue to be, delighted with the high levels of service from John D Wood, and would be very happy to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a letting agent. Excellent.

GoogleJohn D Wood (Oxford) operate differently: Unlike many agents who parcel up elements of the process and pass them into the hands of back-office staff, all of the JDW team are, at all points, equally well-informed about context and are equally able to to progress things. Their marketing, while low-key, generated many enquiries, the team lined up viewings very effectively and the office responded really well to challenges from prospective purchasers (and this vendor!). The transaction itself was handled efficiently with support from local solicitors. Overall, a great service - highly recommended.

GoogleJohn D Wood in Oxford have rented my home in Oxford for a number of years and have provided an excellent managed service, ensuring the house was kept in good condition and that my tenants were happy. Carol, the rentals manager, even coordinated work to update the house with new kitchen, carpets and decor. The house has recently been sold, with the assistance of the JD Wood sales team who have been friendly and professional throughout the process.

GoogleThe worst, if I can give negative one I would. I went to see the property with their agent Alex in Twickenham. When I put down an offer they gave me the document and asked to put down the deposit on the same day as the landlord requested and we made the payment. Later on Monday Alex texted saying the Landlord is asking for more money to which I refused as its not the way or against the principal to walk away from a done deal. They said they will refund my holding deposit Seems like a scam they took the deposit and still haven't returned it to me. Now due to them I cannot put deposit for my next property. Do not trust them they're incompetent and still haven't refunded me. Eager to take the money but not to refund.
Dear Mr Hussain, after looking into this I can confirm your offer was agreed by the Landlord who then asked for an increased rental amount. When you were unable to meet this request he subsequently withdrew with Alex agreeing to refund your payment of intent immediately. This was processed last week via BACS and should now have cleared with you. We are very sorry the goal posts moved after agreeing your offer and hope you understand this was out of our control. If you have any more queries please do not hesitate in contacting the branch
